Melini Hotel Suites

Very happy with the Melini indeed. Staff are all amazing. Sylvana and Christina in the Island Affair restaurant are so friendly and welcoming. Maria is the same in Rockafellas. High level of danger of eating far too much Ice cream at Chillz. Very difficult to find any major fault. Just an advisory – When you pop across the road to the supermarket for your food (and beer for your fridge) don’t forget to get a dish cloth. Pool towels very cheap along the strip. Rooms cleaned daily and beds made. Could not fault the cleaning staff. Beach is literally across the road.

Everything that is good in a holiday is provided at the Melini. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The staff at reception are welcoming and can’t do enough for you if you need anything. The restaurant “Island Affair” is excellent for quality of food and service. If you want the perfect holiday then this is the place to go.

Brilliant place in the heart of Protaras strip. Very clean & friendly staff. Enjoyed every minute and would definitely come back.

Stayed here a few times before and always been pleased but this time it exceeded all expectations…. The half board option was fabulous, food amazing …. No queuing up for buffet options ! You went in the island affair restaurant were given a menu and you were served your food which was spectacular, the staff are very friendly and so attentive especially Christina was so lovely she really looked after us …. Thank you all melini we had such a fantastic stay .

Where to start! Towels only changed twice a week Coffee cups and glasses not washed ever whilst we were there. We queried this and were told maids were not there to wash our crockery! Cleaning of room non existent. We made the bed better than they did. Floors were dirty all the time, bathroom was never cleaned properly. The freezer part of the fridge was all iced up so we’re unable to use. No shower gel replenishment after first day. No air conditioning or lights in the corridor, so very hot and very dark. Terrible choice of fruit at breakfast, just two types of melon, fruit cocktail and plain Greek yoghurt. No banana, pineapple or any other fruit. Just a note about the pool, it’s 1.5M all the way along. No shallow end at all. I’ve never posted on Trip Advisor before but feel the need to let people know what this hotel is like. Worst 3 star hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Good points: apart from one receptionist, all the front of house staff were lovely and very helpful and so were the breakfast staff. Very disappointed
