Golden Bay Beach Hotel

We’ve been coming to Golden Bay two or three times every year, and it always feels like coming home. My family absolutely loves the hotel, especially the beautiful pool area. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful, which makes every stay special. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

I stayed here with a small group (11 adults) for 5 nights at the beginning of September! All of us loved the stay even if, at the beginning, some of us were not enthuziastic when entered the hotel! I do not have a lot of time to mention all the good things about this hotel but I will mention the most important: Food: Tasty food, quite much diversity (not as in top 10 luxury resorts from Antalya, but a good one), large time for breakfast, kunch and dinner. Icecream is fantastic. Beach and sea water: big enough beach, good policy for keeping the umbrella and sunbeds, the seawater was perfect (warm and with perfect depth) Personnel: fantastic personel. Anna from reception, Irina and Aurora from restaurant, the housekeepers, Mateos from PoolBar, etc Rooms: the elevators, hallways are OK, the rooms are big but mostly 4* than 5* but they are absolutely ok. Pools: one small pool for children, one outdoor and one indoor pool for everybody. Both big pools have also Jacuzzi Reception: is not impressive but is ok, more 4* than 5* Restaurants: very nice, especially the Taverna. The breakfast restaurant is quite old but is ok. The Pool/Lunch restaurant is a little more modern. Bars/drinks: Limited types of imported drinks (Famous Grouse is a good scotch), very good local prosseco and uzo. Othet common areas: small aquapark with 2 hours/day program, huge and new fitness areas, good SPA, tennis fields One last and important thing: the management of this hotel is run by HUMAN BEINGS. One of the people from my group had a stroke followed by a surgery 2 days before check-in. 80%-90% of the hotel managements would apply full penalty. Is not the case, the staff of the hotel helped us to not lose all the money! Thanks, Irini Filimianova! Overall, I really recommend this hotel.

We spent our honeymoon at this hotel and left with the warmest and most wonderful memories. 🤍 Before arriving, we informed the hotel that we were coming to Cyprus for our honeymoon, and we were incredibly happy to discover that we had been upgraded to a beautiful room with a jacuzzi. It was such a lovely surprise and the perfect start to our honeymoon. From the very beginning, we felt that the hotel genuinely cared about making our stay special. The staff were generally very friendly, welcoming, and polite, but we would especially like to mention Irina, one of the waitresses. From our very first day, she was incredibly warm, kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. She was always lovely to talk to and made us feel truly welcomed. People like Irina really make a difference and become part of the memories you take home with you. She is not only a wonderful professional but also a genuinely lovely person. A very special thank you goes to Sujan, the bartender. After just our first evening on the terrace with live music, he had already remembered our preferences. After that, he would often suggest cocktails for us to try — and somehow, every single time, he got them exactly right. His cocktails deserve a special mention. The flavours, proportions, and presentation were always perfect. We tried cocktails made by different bartenders during our stay, but for us, no one came close to Sujan. After all our travels and the many places we have visited, we can honestly say that he is the best bartender we have ever met. His professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to understand exactly what guests would enjoy made our evenings on the terrace one of the highlights of our honeymoon. Our room was kept beautifully clean and comfortable throughout our entire stay, and the staff were always professional and polite. This was a very special trip for us — our honeymoon — and we are so happy that Golden Bay Beach Hotel and its wonderful staff became part of such an important memory. Thank you for the hospitality, kindness, and care. We left Cyprus with truly wonderful memories and would be very happy to return one day. 🤍

Wonderful hotel! We stayed at this hotel from July 10 to July 31, 2026, and once again had a wonderful experience. This was our fifth stay here, and we hope to return many more times in the future. The service is excellent, the staff are friendly, polite, and always helpful, and the entire property is spotless. The food in the restaurant is delicious, with a different selection of dishes every day. We especially appreciate that each guest has an assigned sun lounger, so there is no need to worry about finding a place on the beach. The sea is amazing, and the water is always warm, which makes it a perfect destination for families with children. We highly recommend this hotel to all our friends and would gladly return again. Another exceptional experience. It's like home from home, with added luxury, of course. All made possible because the hotel is so ably led by Mr Anthos, who leads by example, with the utmost professionalism. The food and beverage and event managers - Marios and Marios, who also ensure that the food is first class - a wide and delicious variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including the plentiful and tasty bar food. We were spoilt for choice! The hotel is exceptionally clean, comfortable and spacious. Our happy place where we can sit, relax and enjoy beautiful views. The vast expanse of beach, means that we relaxed, without feeling overcrowded. A wonderful holiday experience. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. Such as, Vivien, Anna, and many of the waiters and waitresses during breakfast and meal times. Paraskeva and Electra at the bar, Evi at the Spa - always with a smile, the beach attendants - PJ and Simos and of course, Anastasia, at the customer service section, just to mention a few! We cannot wait to visit again!
