3 minutes ago New If you have children or like to sleep before 2am I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, I have a little boy and he has been awake every night till silly o’clock due to it being on the strip the noise is ridiculously loud, I understand it’s on the strip so it’s my own fault but I didn’t realise music was allowed to be played so loud (2/3am) until I’d already booked it. Genuinely sounds like the singers are performing on my balcony, I could tell you every tribute act the bar facing has had this week, its actually painful to think of 4 more nights of this noise, Rooms are small, the bathrooms have a bath with a built in shower (I preferably prefer just a shower on a hot holiday, if you’ve got back issues etc it’s not ideal having to step in and out of a bath) breakfast isn’t the best, not much choice and sausages look moody. On the plus side, all the staff are really friendly, couldn’t fault them and the pools quite decent although i definitely Wouldn’t return unfortunately

We went to this hotel last year in October, we cannot fault it at all, we are going again this September, I feel the need to let everyone know how amazing the reception staff are, “Nikolas” (V) I’ve sent a few emails to Nikolas requesting a pool view, he is going absolutely everything he can to make our request’s possible, we are going with two other couples, Nikolas emails are very polite and friendly, for all he cannot guarantee our request’s, he is extremely helpful, last year he gave us great advice, on anything we asked of him, he is an absolute asset to this hotel

Stayed here as a family of 5 in August. The Hotel is at the very start of the strip. Hotel looks from the outside in need of some tlc, lots of cracks visible on the balconies for example. Inside the hotel I would say I’d clean and tidy. Rooms again clean and tidy and cleaned daily. No complaints really, being picky id have liked a more powerful shower, but thats all. Working safe in the room was good too have. Our board was bnb only. The breakfast we were not impressed by, compared to other hotels we’ve used in the past couple of years, the buffet was not good in comparison. Cooked option was limited and not great in quality. Nothing like pancakes or poached eggs being cooked. I’d call the breakfast basic. Pool are was full of beds. People are free to put towels down whenever they feels like it. We saw people putting them down at night for the next day. Pool itself we really liked. It’s only 1.3m deep max, and it gets the sun all day which means it stays a really nice temperature, never cold to get into. The adult part was fine, swim up bar which is nice. Issues for us with the Pool were it’s a public pool which no one mentioned. At the weekend it gets packed with people not staying at the hotel. They took over the adult pool area and and bar and sat there all day giving no one else the chance to use it. Unfair for paying guests I’d say, but that’s my opinion. Staff seemed friendly enough. Location wise, if you want to be closer to the beach, and more importantly fig tree bay, I’d stay somewhere closer. Overall I’d say this is good for its rating and price range. But nothing stood out for me that would make me want to stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic week at this hotel staff very friendly and helpful rooms very clean food was fab you chose from a menu at lunch it’s was so nice we used the over 18 pool and swim up bar which was fab never struggled to get a sunbed Sunday is DJ day and it was so good everyone joined in would definitely come back to this hotel

Just got back from another two week holiday at the kapitanios bay hotel, our third visit but unfortunately probably our last . Most of the staff are great , there was one issue when the receptionist guy got a bit pissy because we were moaning about the air conditioning which was failing on 40 degree days, the maintenance guy finally got it working again properly, we heard that several people had had AC issues . The pool area is great but ruined by no one enforcing the hotel rules , the sun bed thing is ridiculous, outsiders turning up early in the morning in a car to put towels on beds then driving away for hours . Their no ball rule isn't enforced either with unruly young adults making a nuisance of themselves .they allow hoards of teenagers into the pool area at weekends who do not follow any rules at all , including bringing In outside food , as McDonald's is next door they bring in food to eat , whilst we saw paying guests told to go outside the complex with their burgers and chips. The food in the pool area is generally good , I do think 7 euro for one pitta bread and two bitter tasting dips was a rip off tho , the cleaning staff are great and go out their way to help. On one night they have a Greek night at the front of the hotel , it looks to be a great night but the music was so loud we weren't able to stay ,, we have my 86 year old dad and two under 5s who couldn't stand the loudness , even the staff shook their head at the noise . Overall we had a great holiday but it could have been better , if u are in a wheelchair the lifts are tiny and just about squeeze through with very little room . One day we waited at least 15 minutes for an empty lift to go down for breakfast as there was very little extra room with a wheelchair in there .
