Our 6th visit to the family run Livas. All good as we’ve experienced previously. Only one difference, they have a different chef doing breakfasts and occasional afternoon/evening meals. Not good at all. Serving sliced roasted carrots for breakfast and courgettes! I opted for the cold buffet and boiled eggs. One evening he sent out a burnt black moussaka for my wife 🙄 obviously she sent it back. I would recommend the Livas but the food has fallen below previous years.

I rated 4 out of 5 as there was one thing that would have made it perfect which could easily be remedied. I love the staff at this hotel and they try very hard to accommodate where they can. As in previous years we stayed in a room with a large balcony on the top floor facing the pool. No complaints about the staff at all or sunbed availability, all was excellent. My only feedback is a couple of things to do with breakfast. Firstly I love yogurt on holiday with fruit but I couldn't be bothered to cut up apples, peaches, plums or pomegranate so didn't have any this holiday. The second is the heat lamps did not keep the food hot enough and with cold plates my breakfast was cold by the time I ate it. This meant we ate out several times for breakfast. The actual food supplied is good but a cold breakfast is not nice. I will stay again next year in the hope that the hotel Manager may read this and I won't have to go elsewhere for breakfast. All in all great value for money, great location and the supermarket attached to the hotel is a bonus. Thank you Livas

Unfortunately we were given a room on the ground floor which did not match the description of what we booked, we asked if there was another room available but they said no the hotel was full, although every day there were lots of changes of people. The room had been adapted for disabled use & had a lowered sink, shower with an old fashioned curtain & the bathroom had PIR lighting & a fan which stayed on most of the time which was very annoying. It also had a small double bed not twin beds or a queen size. We did not get any sunshine on the terrace or into the room which made the room feel damp. The Manager was not very sympathetic & offered us a room in another hotel which was only a 2* & definitely not acceptable, dark room with a broken toilet seat & kitchen cupboards falling apart. On our 7th day the receptionist at breakfast said I have good news, we have a room for you but you have to change now, we had a boat trip booked so we couldn’t move our stuff until later so they said sorry it’s now or not at all !! No idea why they were so unhelpful, we had said that the hotel was nice, just our room was not as described. The hotel was very clean & nice pool area, although you had to be up early to get the sun beds in the sunshine. Which wasn’t a problem for us as the cleaners started at 7am & their store cupboard was opposite our room & the hose to clean the pool area was there too & very noisy !! They also came into our room uninvited a few times. Very rude The hotel has lots of repeat guests so maybe they keep the best rooms for them. A disabled lady was given a room on the 3rd floor & told me that she has stayed in room 001 & she didn’t like it so I think that says it all
