Mimosa Beach Hotel

This was our second stay at the hotel, and overall we had another fantastic holiday. We arrived late in the evening and appreciated that something had been left in our room for us. However, it consisted of two apples, a banana, and a glass of wine. While it was a thoughtful gesture, we would have much preferred a couple of bottles of water after travelling. We paid extra for a sea view room, so we were a little disappointed that it wasn't what we'd describe as a full sea view. We still had a lovely view, but it wasn't quite what we were expecting. The room itself was very clean, but the decor felt quite dated and could definitely do with some TLC. We stayed in a different part of the hotel on our previous visit, which was much more modern, so this was quite noticeable. The staff are absolutely amazing and one of the biggest reasons we'd returned. Every member of the team was friendly, polite, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The food was great, with plenty of choice and consistently good quality. In the evenings, we found ourselves heading out as there wasn't much of an atmosphere or entertainment. That said, if you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, it's perfect. The beach next to the hotel is beautiful and ideal for anyone who enjoys snorkeling, with plenty to see in the clear water. Despite a few minor disappointments, we had another wonderful holiday and would happily return. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!

Just ending a 11 night stay and this hotel is truly amazing 👏 super friendly staff , the whole place is immaculately clean,the room spacious and airy, but the best part absolutely delicious home cooked food and always hot 🔥 the barbecue night omg Location a nice coastal walk into protaras I can not praise this place enough needless to say we returning next year for longer .thank you to all staff you all make this place what it is

We have just returned from another wonderful 10‑day stay at the Mimosa Hotel, and it truly remains a little gem. Set right on the beautiful Glyfades Beach, you might even spot a turtle gliding past in the water. Look out for the under water sculptures t when you snorkel just outside of the bay. From the moment we make our booking to the moment we leave, we feel genuinely cared for. Linda always goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly before we arrive. As soon as we step through the doors, we instantly feel relaxed and at home. The staff are consistently warm, welcoming, and eager to help. Cristalla’s big smile is always a highlight, and Georgia, Martin, and Stelios are just as friendly, doing everything they can to make sure guests have everything they need for a peaceful, comfortable stay. The hotel is calm and quiet, and while it doesn’t offer children’s clubs or entertainment, there is a small pool for little ones. It’s very much a place for relaxing and unwinding rather than activities. The food is excellent. Breakfast offers plenty of choice; porridge, cereals, cold meats, cheeses, breads, and all the usual cooked options. Evening meals are varied, tasty, and include a Cypriot night once a week. If you prefer, you can swap dinner for a generous three‑course lunch, which is always delicious. The pool is a good size and never feels overcrowded. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas both around the pool and on the grassy area near the beach. Beach loungers are not owned by the hotel, so require payment. Pool towels can be purchased for €15, so you may prefer to bring your own. Rooms are spacious, air‑conditioned, and most offer lovely sea views. The rooms are cleaned well daily with bedding and towels changed. Every member of staff works incredibly hard and consistently goes the extra mile to ensure guests are happy. We absolutely love this hotel it is small, friendly, peaceful, and full of charm and we can’t wait to return.

A lovely family run hotel. All staff very attentive. Selection of foods each evening very good. Accommodation very comfortable a d clean. Best to take your own towels for the sun loungers as towels from room not permitted, you can also hire a kettle for your extra comforts….Yorkshire tea etc.

This was our second stay at Mimosa Beach Hotel, and it certainly won’t be our last. The location is absolutely perfect, set right beside a beautiful cove with crystal-clear water that’s ideal for swimming and snorkelling. The hotel has plenty of sun loungers available around the pool and throughout the lovely garden areas, so finding somewhere to relax was never a problem. The staff are truly outstanding – every member of the team was friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The food was excellent throughout our stay. One feature we particularly loved was the option to swap your evening meal for lunch at the pool bar, which offers a fantastic menu and gives you a bit more flexibility during your holiday. Entertainment was just right for us – enjoyable and relaxed without being overly loud or intrusive. The hotel has a lovely, chilled atmosphere which is one of the reasons we keep returning. Our room was perfect, and we were lucky enough to stay in Room 310 with a stunning sea view. Waking up to that view every morning was a real highlight. Mimosa Beach is a small, friendly hotel with a personal feel. It’s around a 30-minute walk into Protaras, and the walk itself is beautiful as you can follow the coastline and beachfront the whole way. One thing that stood out was seeing so many familiar faces from our previous visit, both among the staff and the guests. There are clearly lots of repeat visitors, which says everything about the quality of this hotel. I’d highly recommend ignoring some of the reviews that mention expensive prices. We found everything very reasonable – the most expensive alcoholic drink we bought was only €5.50. A special mention must go to Biggles, the owner’s dog, who was around every day. He’s such a well-behaved and friendly boy and became part of the holiday experience! If you’re looking for a relaxed, friendly hotel in a stunning location with excellent food and wonderful staff, Mimosa Beach Hotel is hard to beat. Highly recommended!
