Sunrise Gardens

We have been staying at Sunrise Gardens 9 years, sometimes twice a year. We just love it. Central to the strip but not noisy, great pool area and a short walk to the beach. Staff are welcoming and friendly, hotel is clean and food is great. Buffet breakfast, plenty of choice and if you have any special requirements, the chef is happy to accommodate. Lunch is menu selection & a good variety is on offer. Evening dinner, 3 course buffet with lots to choose from. Head chef is always around, should you have any questions about ingredients, special requirements, etc. For us, it is like 'home from home' and we can't wait to return in June.

OMG we love this place, the room was perfect, the breakfast was perfect and the room service was perfect. Breakfast was something else, you get such a choice of hot, cold, Greek, English and just picky eaters it was amazing, to be able to eat outside under fans near the pool was bliss. We only used the hotel as a base as we wanted to explore Protaras but what a base! Absolutely recommend and we would 100% come back here. Atmosphere of the staff was always lovely. The omelette station guy was so lovely and all the staff. No complaints from us 😊

Excellent hotel staff are lovely can't do enough for you nothing is too much trouble Excellent rooms and facilities Pools were cold the baby pool was hard to get beds round as usually taken up from 7am by couples so it was hard for people with children Food was same each week could do with a 14 day rota so its a change. Lovely meals in greek and steak restaurant all free Had great fun at pool bar with Petrula she is an absolute credit to the hotel such a lovely hardworking funny lady she made our day by the pool. Was a joy our granddaughter Elouise loved her. Definitely recommend and return Thank you all

We stayed at Sunrise Gardens for two nights and had a truly lovely experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and perfectly located — just a short walk from the beach and the main strip. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was comfortable, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast offered a great variety, and everything was fresh and tasty. Although our stay was short, everything exceeded our expectations. It’s the perfect hotel for a peaceful getaway with great service and a warm atmosphere. We would definitely return!

So, as like you are doing, we read the reviews for this hotel before booking and before we arrived. We were happy with the reviews and thought the place will be good….however! It’s way better than we envisaged. Right from being booked in at night by the gentleman night manager on arrival to the day we left. The hotel is clean, smart and modern. Staff are wonderful, special mention for Mr Ilias who was so friendly each and every day, the staff for all meals were professional and friendly at all times. We went half board and despite the previous reviews being good we were a bit wary of the food. Again however the food exceeded expectations, everything was high quality, fresh and great tasting. Also varied themed nights. Breakfast is excellent and can be as light or a big full English if that’s your thing. Pool area is lovely and due to time of year we visited were no real issues with sun beds. Some parents could control their excitable loud children better but that isn’t the hotels fault. The superior side view room we had was large and had lots of storage. The bed was large and very comfy. Balcony is excellent size. Bathroom is great, with good powerful shower (only one night the hot water seemed to run out). Cleaners were great and respectable and didn’t try to get in at 0730am to clean the room! We really enjoyed our holiday and the location of the hotel is great too. We aim to return as both the hotel and the staff made our two weeks very memorable 😎
