TUI BLUE Atlantica Sea Breeze

It’s was the most horrible & a nightmare week ,Travelodge had better standards I had many issues but these are some - arriving to find my room view was the next doors apartments garages ! Balcony view was below kitchen which was smelly, noisy the freezer constantly going 24/ 7 & delivery vans Good luck finding a TUI rep !! Or expect them to help ,when you find them hiding in the spa or bar, not caring to help you with issues! apart from wanting to sell trips - Entertainment was poor ,dated & boring rod Stewart tribute but didn’t sing any of his songs -food was poor and uneatable- most themed nites were disappointed ie Greek nite only 3 dishes from that culture , the show for Greek nite !music & dancing in the bar area ,the bar staff and servers enjoyed that the most ! It was a fun nite for them ,Singing and dancing with the band ignoring the guest Overall not a place of comfort or tranquility ! - the sun beds dealing with fly and bugs all day ,only to find staff emptying left over drinks on the grass area next to the beds ! Not cleaned daily beds ,tables or rubbish The hygiene was poor but the outside BBQ was the worse ,servers pre cooking the chips then leaving them with the chip pan open ,exposed , then touching to fill up chip bags with dirty gloves and putting the chips under a heat lamp where other surfaces had been touched before and not sanitised , cleaning work surfaces with kitchen towel then wiping knifes and utensils with the same cloth , smoking and using their phones while serving ! Disgusting!! Building work noise constantly Advertising the hotel as a beach front with no beach sun-bed is a joke only to be informed after arrival ,there’s a public beach but it would cost an extra $10 for a spot on the beach ! For all inclusive there were lots of extra services ,costing more money like a sushi bar , spa , drinks, restaurant - room cleaning ,dirty and tired corridors , carpets stained and smelly ,in rooms forgetting hand towel , tea and coffee , toiletries ,moping the floor These are basic items you expect from any hotel especially a TUI blue hotel !!! This place needs to be removed immediately from the TUI stock and not recommended as a 4* hotel as it was piss poor !

Their strength is the staff attention to detail in all areas. Good food, very clean, good entertainment by day and night. On a quiet beach. Adults only. Really good. Only negative points for me personally : A heavy snorer next door, kept me awake ! The scraping of chairs at all hours drove me nuts, basically the walls are thin. There is a new hotel under construction next door but one, so it was noisy. My biggest gripe was this : I paid for an All Inclusive holiday, only to discover i had to pay for Bailey's (€6.25). I've never had to pay for this before and have been all inclusive holidaying for 2 decades. I tried beer, whiskey, rum, etc but didnt fancy it. Stayed mostly on tea and water. Consequently I wouldn't go back. I would only recommend this hotel if you dislike Bailey's and sleep like a log or are hard of hearing. This was my third most expensive holiday ever. I honestly believe Turkey. Portugal, Spain are better value for money. The hotel is a bit remote, but compared to the human zoo of Fig Tree Bay, I think this is an asset. Bus stops are directly outside the hotel and a bar showing many football matches, will appeal to some. Boat trips from the new Paralimni harbour close by are a bonus. I was really hoping to eat Baklava, but unfortunately didn't see any all week.

Nice hotel . Bit out in the sticks ,but great bus service at the front of hotel Rooms nice very clean ,need a bit of updating. Food nice selection at breakfast and lunch . Not so much at dinner time . Drinks all inclusive ok depending on what you drink . Staff really great ,very friendly, helpful hardworking. Pool freezing cold . Sea little boy short walk from sunbeds ,sea nice to swim in ut you need your sea shoes .very rocky . Rooms , hairdryer, kettle , not great at filling up tea and coffee . We had fresh towels very often . Shampoo ,shower jel and hand-wash in bathroom all nice . Beds and pillows comfy and im fussy . Good entertainment if you enjoy that . Lots going on . Not many places to sit ,drink and chat play games etc if you dont want to listen to music . All in all enjoyed my holiday.

We have just arrived home from the Atlantica Sea Breeze after an 11 night stay. The hotel was generally very good, food great with very good variety, helpful staff everywhere, grounds beautiful and no need to reserve sunbeds. The room was a bit basic and noisy as the walls were paper thin and we could hear people speaking in the next room. The balconies were very close to each other with no partitions so no privacy whatsoever. If you didn't want to see the entertainment there was absolutely nowhere else to sit.

On arrival at around midnight the hotel reception looked pretty decent. Walked along corridor to room which is quite dated. Entered our room which was ok. It was clean and was serviced every day. Glasses in bathroom had covers on but glass had white residue in the bottom . Toilet seat was loose , fan didn’t work and shower door over bath leaked. We were in room 001 on ground level nearest the main road. Advertising it as a partial sea view is quite literal. It is very partial, take binoculars . Very good view of neighbouring car park. The room was quite noisy due to being above service entrance. There is a bar across the road which had very noisy karaoke and entertainment. Take ear plugs. We paid Tui £137 for a late checkout room. Don’t pay this it’s a rip off. Pay at hotel as it’s only 90euros. The outside areas of the hotel were ok. Pool toilets could do with a bit of attention.Plenty of sunbeds and plenty of space. Nice little cove nearby which has sunbeds for hire. My wife went snorkelling which she said was amazing the further you swam out. Pool bar serving poor lager and very strong cocktails was ok. Staff taking orders and delivering to your sunbeds and regularly collecting glasses. Food was just ok. Quality was decent enough but choice wasn’t great. Desserts were pretty generic with things like some sort of dessert with some crushed up biscuits on plate described as Oreo cake etc, and previous evenings desserts renamed for the following daytime buffet. Best food we had was when we ate out. The food was on a whole acceptable but probably the poorest all inclusive we’ve encountered for choice. The hotel is about 5km from Protaras so is quite far out but the buses from directly outside the hotel are pretty regular and take about 10 to 15 mins to get to centre and all fares are 2 euros. Hotel staff on a whole were very pleasant and friendly and mostly very helpful. They were the best part of the hotel. There were daily activities provided by the staff which were fun to join in too. We had an ok stay at this hotel but due to being a bit far from centre of Protaras, the room views and the food choices we wouldn’t stay here again or recommend.
