We stayed 5-12 May. So still here…. Transfer was long, 1.5 hours. Clean hotel, quiet area, out of main season there was alot around just that nothing was open. Weather wasn’t great. Gym was ok, indoor pool was a stuffy heat area but was ok. Bar staff don’t speak much English, esp if you weren’t happy with what was given to you drink wise…. food was standard. Breakfast was cold if you went in late and evening meal wasn’t the best again cold and not replenished, plenty choice just not warm enough. We ate out most nights after walking into the harbour, about 45 min walk each way. Plenty food and drink places but no entertainment as such. Walk way was quite dark and quiet. Beach is pebbles. Sea is very blue. Room was spacious. We were above the entrance and got woken up by deliveries everyday, coaches arriving throughout the day with lots of engines / noise. Interesting to see yoga being done in the car park opposite. Tennis was nice to see tho. Everyone walks around in bath robes. Hardly any kids and didn’t see any clubs / entertainment for them. Only a piano in lobby. We booked with hays travel but I was an easyjet holiday. Would have been cheaper to go direct with easy jet. My opinion, don’t go in May if you want nightlife ,, we aren’t party animals but something would have been good.

We have just returned from a stay at Aminess Khalani and I can honestly say this hotel offers something very special – not just in its beautiful surroundings and facilities, but in the genuine care of its people. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service we experienced during our stay – particularly from a member of the restaurant hosting, Sara. Travelling with children can sometimes be overwhelming, and on one evening, as I was juggling dinner, one of my daughters suddenly needed the toilet. Sara noticed immediately and, without hesitation, stepped in to help, guiding her so I could settle the rest of my family. It was such a small but powerful act of kindness that immediately put me at ease. A few days later, my daughter Bella became very upset after losing one of her nails (she had just had them done for the first time). Sara again noticed straight away, comforted her with such warmth and empathy, and completely turned the situation around. What happened next truly blew me away — Sara went out of her way to source a matching nail polish the following day and gifted it to Bella. That level of thoughtfulness is not something you can train — it comes from genuine care. What makes this even more impressive is what happened after I shared this feedback with the hotel management. I received a personal response explaining that this is exactly the culture they strive to create — that people remember how they are made to feel. They had already shared my message with the hotel manager and ensured Sara would be recognised internally. It was clear that this isn’t just a beautiful hotel, but one with strong values and leadership that truly prioritises guest experience. The facilities, location, and overall atmosphere are fantastic, but it’s the people who make this place unforgettable. If you are looking for a hotel where you feel genuinely cared for — especially as a family — this is it. We will absolutely be returning.

Having visited soo many hotels in Croatia, this one tops them all! Just WOW! Staff is incdrediy helpful and kind, food is delicious, rooms are so spacious, pool area is extremely clean. Coffee machine in the room males the best coffee ever. Amenities and activities for kids are great. We will definitely come back! Congratulations on your work Aminess Team!
