Bluesun Holiday Village Afrodita

My wife and I have just returned from another enjoyable holiday at the Hotel Afrodita in the beautiful resort of Tucepi. Our stay here is always a holiday that we look forward to throughout the year and are always sad to say goodbye. The rooms are modern, clean and relaxing, with everything needed to help you feel at home. The views from our balcony could not provide anything more beautiful than mountain back drops and crystal clear waters of the Adriatic through the palm tree gardens. Upon arrival and throughout our stay, the reception staff were the perfect hosts and could not be any friendlier and helpful. The pool bar area was the perfect way to relax before heading to the abundance of clean sun loungers and new sun umbrellas by the inviting blue swimming pool. Even though the bar staff here are always friendly and helpful, this year we found each of the staff to be so full of energy, professional and keen to provide an excellent service from morning and into the night time. We have always enjoyed coming to Tucepi for many reasons, but always for the many different first class restaurants providing so much choice of excellent tastes, but this year we found that not only did we enjoy the breakfast varieties within the hotel restaurant each morning, but we spent each evening also enjoying the exciting choices of fresh and hot menus on offer. Each evening there were plenty of choice for everyone and the staff were quick to replenish. We enjoyed the food so much, that each evening we just had to enjoy second helpings to everything! The restaurant has had a revamp since our last stay and now it boasts soft comfortable seating with clean modern tables and colourful ambiance. The staff were so friendly and very conscientious at clearing the tables after use. Overall, this hotel deserves 10 out 10 this year for everything provided! Excellent hotel and customer service was superb. Staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel was clean and spacious. We loved the location so close to the sea and Tucepi. Would definitely recommend this hotel. We will be back. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

We booked our stay here earlier in the year but didn’t add transfers to our booking. We tried to add them to our booking at a later date (we booked with Love Holidays), but didn’t have the option with our booking agent. Luckily we found our own driver so that all worked out well. We flew into Zadar airport and the transfer took around 2hrs. Zadar airport is so small and makes for a quick turnaround. The scenery along the way was beautiful. Tucepi itself is a small pretty place with a very safe feeling. The beach is beautiful, although it’s pebble so something comfy to sunbathe on may be worth considering. We stayed b&b and found the hotel restaurant to be spotlessly clean with the food nice and hot and regularly replenished. We had a sea view room which was well equipped and cleaned daily. We had some lovely evening meals and would recommend Bistro Rosos and Konoba Ranc. Although the only downside we found was all the restaurant menus offered the same meals which got a little monotonous. The walk down to Makarska was well worth it. Overall we found everyone to be very friendly, helpful and willing to attempt to speak English when you’re struggling with the lingo ! We really had a great stay In beautiful Croatia and came home feeling relaxed and sun kissed ☀️
