Bluesun Hotel Marina

This hotel is situated in a beautiful coastal area with two other hotels close by. My room , on the 5th floor had superb views over the bay, There is no swimming pool at this hotel although there are places nearby where you can enter the sea, no sand , just pebbles. I was staying half board. The dining experience was deplorable. The room resembled a school canteen and the food was mediocre. Sitting outside in the courtyard was a slight improvement but there was no pleasure eating there. The staff did their best , but for a supposed 4 * hotel they need to completely upgrade the dining room.

Room - nice and clean Food - excelent breakfast and good dinner - no drink included in dinner, water, even potable is not included Beach - beautiful peable beach, minus to expensive sunbeds, tip bring your own Minus - parking, we had unpleasent experience at ckeck out. We payed for parking and wanted to stay for few more hours after check out. We were informed night before that after check out we have to pay 4 euros for every aditional hour which was aceptable. But we were ignored and forced to pay daily parking ticket (30 euros) instead of 12 agreed euros for aditional three hours

We recently stayed at Bluesun Marina in Brela with our two children under the age of 7. While the rooms were nicely decorated, we had an issue with ants. Someone came to spray, but the problem was never fully resolved. The biggest letdown was the dining experience. The dining hall felt like a loud, crowded cafeteria with constant lines, very few food options, and poor organization at every meal. This setup was especially challenging with young children, and it took away from the enjoyment of the trip. The beach below the hotel is beautiful and was the highlight of our stay. However, due to the lack of service and the chaotic dining situation, we won’t be returning. Bluesun Marina could definitely learn a lot from nearby Hotel Soline, which offers a much better experience. Expect 3 star as this is not a 4 star hotel.

The hotel offers daily cleaning, which keeps the rooms consistently tidy. The front sea-view room is truly breathtaking and highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable stay. Although parking is paid, the service provided is excellent and well-organized. The reception staff are consistently helpful, professional, and welcoming. The beach is a standout feature—clean, with the added benefit of natural shade from pine trees located directly on the shore. The sea is exceptionally clear, though water shoes are recommended for comfortable access. The kids’ open-air playroom is a great addition, offering a safe and engaging space for children. The restaurant is average and could use some improvement. While the overall experience rates between 4 and 5 out of 5, the restaurant would score a 3.

This hotel has a good location, beach front. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. There are how ever no facilities at the beach. There is no pool! Bring your own towel and buy a beach mattress. Because it is a public beach. On the pebble beach a towel just doesn’t work. You can also rent a beach bed, I think the rates vary. There one place with food and drinks service. Keep in mind it closes at 17:00. Meals are in a large dining hall. Buffet style. This is a child friendly hotel. Don’t expect a high quality meal. There are chicken nuggets and chips. Salad bar, there was also pizza and a lot more. (Nothing at really jumps out) A lot of fruit and a choice of dessert cakes. Breakfast was loud just like dinner. The acoustics are not good in the dining area. Think children (child friendly hotel) lots of them. They ask that parent accompany their children to the buffet. This just doesn’t happen. We were amazed by the amount of food that the plates are filled with and afterwards left to be cleared of by the dinning hall staff. This is the first hotel, in the world, that we have been to, that does not serve a cappuccino!
