Hotel Osejava

Managed to book a single night stay due to an early start next morning.Well,without doubt one of the best ever hotel experiences ever.From the amazing receptionist the superb room the cafe/bar staff-everything 5 star.This is the place for a truly unforgettable experience.

The Hotel Osejava is a great hotel in a perfect location. However, I want to make travellers aware of rooms that they should avoid. These are the second floor rooms facing the pool. After checking in we entered our room and were faced with a wall of beautiful flowers. (These rooms are marketed as park view rooms). The room had a cigarette smell to it and was very dark. The next morning we opened our balcony door at 7 am and found a couple lying on the sun beds three feet away from us. We had no view, no privacy and no respect from people who smoke. We went to reception and complained and were told that they had two rooms we could look at - the room above us on the third floor or a fourth floor room. We eventually accepted the fourth floor room (thanks to the British couple who let us have a peep as they were leaving the room). It was only then that our holiday started. You will see from my photos the difference in the views from both rooms. On a positive note - the hotel is very, very clean and beautifully presented. The food, from breakfast, lunch to evening meal is delicious. The majority of the staff are professional and friendly. A big shout out goes to the lady at breakfast who really does an excellent job. She is friendly, professional and very hardworking. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes I would. However, the pool is small - not meant for sitting by 24/7 but more for an early morning or late afternoon dip. Or for a nice cooling off after a busy day of sightseeing. The hotel has a policy of no sun beds to be reserved before 8 am but that rule goes out of the window and the hotel does not police this policy. I booked this hotel not expecting to see sun bed hoggers at 7 am in the morning. In summing up I would say the Hotel Osejava is a great hotel. I would recommend it and we would stay there again ourselves.

Unfortunately we stayed in 313 which was great from the outset but honestly the noise from the nightclub on the beach was unbearable the incessant boom boom boom n noisy revelers until 5 in the morning was truly awful..maybe it was the Ill fitting doors or window but I've never expected such noise. But the hotel the room the staff were impeccable

Beautiful hotel with fabulous views of the harbour. We had a sea view room at the front and were never disturbed by noise. The room was large, spotlessly clean, and the beds were comfortable. Hotel staff were very friendly especially the reception staff and breakfast staff. Everything is within easy walking distance of the hotel and all flat, so easy to walk around. Perhaps the only negative is that the hotel feels like its lacking a nice formal bar area within the hotel. There is a small cafe/bar next door but I didn't find the waiters very friendly, and the wine was dreadful. This was a shame as it was a lovely walk back to the hotel in the evening to sit outside for a drink. The small beach at the back of the hotel gets very busy but was still a great spot for a dip in the afternoon after a long walk. Boat trips are frequent to other islands and there are trips to the Biokovo Skywalk, which is well worth it. We went by Tuk Tuk which was an experience. We had to leave before breakfast on the last day and they made a lovely packed breakfast for us to take to the airport. All in all, a lovely hotel, in a fabulous spot, PS, its a good 2 hours from the airport and as the receptionist said "that is on a good day", however, it is a very scenic route

Just got back from a fabulous 10 night stay at Hotel Osejava. The view was beautiful, hotel was spotlessly clean and modern. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.
