We had a great stay here, the staff at check in were very friendly and after checking in the room we popped back to mention we had an issue with our shower they arrange for someone to come in first thing the following morning to fix our broken shower head. We used this hotel as part of our road trip from pula to Dubrovnik. Location wise it’s a bit of the way out of the main town. It best if you have a car as they have free parking at the hotel and it’s much easier to drive into town and park although traffic was pretty busy as peak times. They do also have the archaeological site nearby it’s not free but it’s worth the money. We were in one of the rooms overlooking the pool which was a nice relaxed stay and very quiet. We enjoyed a great breakfast buffet with hot and cold options and a good sized breakfast area.

Lovely hotel , rooms were spacious and we had a view of the pool . Breakfast had plenty of choice , although the hot food was more lukewarm. Staff very helpful , they gave advice on where to go and helped with printing out our travel documents. The hotel is about a 20 minute bus ride into Split town centre , the bus stops outside of the hotel . We really enjoyed our stay .

We had a lovely three-night stay at Salona Palace Hotel and would definitely recommend it. It’s a very nice four-star hotel with good facilities, including a spa with a sauna. The outdoor pool is much larger than the indoor pool, although both were quite cold – not really an issue when it’s hot outside. We stayed in a family room overlooking the pool, which was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was the glazed window between the bathroom and bedroom, which let both light and silhouettes into the main sleeping area. The hotel’s location in Solin worked well for us. Bus number 1 stops right outside and takes around 25–30 minutes to reach Split city centre. Ubers were also readily available and often cost around the same as the bus, only a little more during busier periods. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice to start the day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.
