Recently paid a visit to this hotel and had a very mixed experience. On approaching the hotel you notice the five stars on the front, I think not. My comments will echo many previous reviews, unfortunately nothing has changed. What's a matter with the owners and management at this hotel. As previously stated this could be a very nice hotel but at the moment it's far from it. The hotel itself is fine, nice rooms ( if a little dark) with everything you need. The pool area is excellent, never crowded and plenty of sunbeds. The problem with this hotel was the restaurant service. It was abysmal as previously stated in many reviews. The hotel is a stop over for many tours and most people never return. You have to pre-book lunch and dinner, which bearing on mind the size of some parties is perfectly understandable. On our first night it took two hours and fifteen minutes to serve three pre booked courses, unbelievable. Sat at a table for eight, seven of the diners had been served and eaten their main course before mine even arrived. The second night the service was just as slow and we were told we could not have some of the desserts we had pre-ordered. Why ask us to pre-order something you cannot supply. On our third meal the tables were not ready. No wine glasses, no serviettes and very few staff. If these comments sound harsh, I'm sorry but they are perfectly true and the management are clearly not interested in their customers. If any of the above were one offs I would understand but when this is happening time and again ( read the reviews) it is just not acceptable. Would I return to this hotel, given a choice definitely no.

Very nice and clean hotel with excellent service. The staff is extremely kind, helpful, and always willing to do anything to make your stay comfortable. I would like to highlight Ana from Kazakhstan, Ramiz, Zoran and Debashish who were all incredibly kind, professional and made sure all our needs were met. The spa area is great, and even offers amazing physiotherapeutic services (physiotherapist Ana was great). Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Very nice rooms and central location. Lovely stream with ducks, post office, food, grocery store and park.

I traveled solo, but with the Titan company for a tour. The hotel President, Solin was our final hotel. The hotel itself is very pleasant, with large rooms and elegant features, set in an attractive area. Unfortunately there were several issues. We had to order from the menu for our choices of lunch and dinner the day ahead. On our first day, the staff were aware of our choices, but we waited half an hour to be served and meals were coming out haphazardly, so some people were waiting for food, when others had finished. The staff were friendly enough, but seemed lost about their duties and were vague. It seemed as if they had been recently employed, but without adequate training. One evening, I left my room and encountered a couple who were rather confused. Understandably so, as they had just checked in and been given keys to my room. That is an appalling error. The key to the room also opens the safe and as I only had one key, the room went into darkness when you took it out of the holder inside the door. At any time, it is not possible to see into the wardrobe. If the several issues are addressed, this could be a good holiday destination.
