Amadria Park Beach Hotel Niko

This hotel was disappointing on most levels, and unfortunately, the worst part was the pool area. The outdoor space is poorly maintained — with mud all around the pool — making it impossible to relax there. We ended up purchasing passes to the nearby water park every day instead (€35 per person, even for kids). It’s expensive, but in our case, worth it because the hotel pool area was unusable. The buffet was another letdown. At €35 per adult (and 50% for children under 12), the food quality was extremely poor. We ended up eating only some salad. Drinks are not included, and prices are steep — around €8 for a local beer and €10 for a glass of local wine. The red wine was undrinkable, while the white was just okay. Our room was also a major disappointment. All rooms seem to smell like smoke. We paid extra for a beach view but were given a view of the parking lot, complete with blinds over the windows that made the room completely dark. It’s honestly one of the worst rooms I’ve stayed in, and it’s incredible they charge this kind of money for such a low standard. On the positive side, the ancient village on the premises is truly unique — amazing and authentic ruins, and absolutely worth booking a table there for dinner. The water park is also one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen. If you’re over 18, the spa is the real highlight. It’s spacious, luxurious, and included in your stay. There’s a large pool, sauna, steam room, and complimentary water and fruit. The sunbeds are comfortable, and the area is blissfully far from the chaos of the main pool. There’s also a cocktail bar and treatments like massages and facials available. We might consider returning to this destination — but next time, we’d book one of the five-star Amadria properties instead. Just note that it’s about an hour from Split airport, but with traffic, plan for at least 1.5 hours.

This is my second year in a row staying at Hotel Niko, and already my fourth time here—and for good reason! Each visit just confirms why I keep coming back: the warmth, the hospitality, and the incredible people who work here. I especially want to highlight the amazing Josipa, Kristina, and Damjan – the friendly, professional, and incredibly warm-hearted waitstaff. They go above and beyond to make every meal and moment enjoyable, always with a smile and a kind word. Their genuine care, positive energy, and attention to every detail make you feel truly valued as a guest. Whether it’s a morning coffee or a late dinner, they’re always there to make sure everything is perfect. They don’t just serve you – they create a beautiful atmosphere filled with warmth, laughter, and connection. A special thank-you to Mate, the manager, who is always ready for anything. Nothing is ever too much for him—he takes care of everything with a smile from ear to ear. He’s such a warm and kind-hearted person, and his positive energy makes a big difference. People like him are the reason guests feel so welcome and happy at Hotel Niko. And of course, a big thank-you to Jakov at the reception – always smiling, helpful, and ready to show or explain anything you need. He’s a warm and approachable person, always there for a friendly chat or to lend a hand. His presence truly adds to the welcoming atmosphere at Hotel Niko. I also want to extend my deepest thanks to all the other staff at Hotel Niko—everyone at reception, the housekeeping team who kept everything spotless, the kitchen and restaurant staff who prepared delicious meals, and those who ensured everything was always in order and clean. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and it made our stay truly enjoyable. Hotel Niko is more than just a hotel—it’s a place where guests are treated like family. We felt welcomed, cared for, and always surrounded by smiles. Thank you to the entire team—we’ll definitely be back again!☀️

The room was very old, and the cleanliness of the hotel is nothing compared to how it was pre-Covid. The bathrooms were not cleaned regularly, aside from the replacement of the towels. A room with a <1 metre couch and two individual beds are meant to fit four people (again, uncomparable to the standard from before). The best part of the hotel was the proximity to the beach and the service staff, who were amazing at all times. Sadly, I must say the stay was dissapointing.

We stayed there for a week as a family—two adults and two children—and overall, we had a great time. The hotel rooms definitely need renovation, but the lobby and restaurant were nice, and the pool area was cozy. However, since we didn’t spend much time at the hotel, the room standard wasn’t a big issue. We got two connecting rooms, just as we requested, so we were happy. In the end, we mostly just slept there. One of the best things was the variety of beaches to choose from. Each day, we could visit a different one. There was also a water park and an indoor pool facility in case of rain. The water park had an entrance fee, though it was half price when we were there, while the indoor pools at a nearby hotel were free to use. The hotel offered shuttle cars for getting around the area, but we also enjoyed walking along the beach promenade. Every evening, there was an outdoor movie screening, a small train running along the promenade, and several restaurants by the water. A Uber ride to Šibenik Old Town cost around 10 euros, and we went there most evenings. It’s an incredibly beautiful city with amazing restaurants, offering a more authentic Croatian experience. Plus, if you’re a Game of Thrones fan, some scenes were filmed there. In summary, this is a great place if you’re looking for a typical family-friendly resort with plenty of activities—though many of them come at an extra cost. If you’re after something more authentic, this might not be the place for you.

What a hell hole. Rooms smelling like sigarettes, like being in a bar in 1995 again. "Fully booked", so no alternative. Door doesn't close without pulling a key. Complained at management, but we only got the fully booked line. What a disgrace. After spending time in Croatia in Bellevue in Porec and Fenomen Plitvice this is a heavy disappointment.
