Camping Paklenica

We stayed in a mobile home and returned for the second time, showing that we generally like the campsite. The campsite has a great atmosphere, which we truly enjoyed. The children’s programs, like the mini-disco, are a fantastic addition that our kids really enjoyed. We appreciate that most campers respect the silent hours, making it easy to rest at night. Having both the beach and pools available is a big plus, offering plenty of options for everyone. The mobile home was well-equipped with an AC unit and two bathrooms, which added to our comfort. However, some maintenance issues need attention: the AC and a bathroom sink were leaking, which caused some inconvenience. The mobile homes are a bit too close together, with windows from the neighboring unit just a meter from our terrace. The pool area could use some updates: broken showers, a non-functional fountain, no sunshades, and slightly dirty water detracted from our experience.

The camp itself is rather cosy and small, it has a small patch of beach, but good enough, the toilets are clean and the staff friendly. But the mobile homes are far from what they look on the pictures and quite overpriced for what you get - they are shabby, dirty and not cosy at all. And unless you get the first row, chances are you'll be looking at another mobile home a feet away from yours, so we're definitely coming back here.

Stayed here on the way down to Split and on the way back as we enjoyed it so much. Sea is beautiful here , facilities are spotless and reception staff very professional. Pitches are sizeable and make for a tranquil stay

Pro: Still pretty new mobile homes (as of 2021); lots of parking spaces; large beach; good cook-to-order breakfast at the restaurant (our reservation was changed from the adjacent hotel due to the rescheduled re-opening); Con: Concrete beach; long-lasting check in processes;

Been here in a Mobile Home in 2016, very impressed. Returned again in August 2020 - luckily just for a couple days - disaster. Booked a mobile home again, but instead of a MH we got 2 hotel rooms connected with a narrow 2m corridor. There's no kitchen, one cannot even make a morning cup of coffee. The only table (for 4 people !) was 70 x 70 cm, smaller then in a Paris bistro. You cannot even use a notebook with a mouse here ! They represent as Bluesun CAMP Paklenica, but the camp is just a small part of a large hotel resort. Beside the main hotel building there are several separate hotel units and now even some 20 objects that look just like any other mobile home, except they are not MH but 2 ordinary hotel rooms without a kitchen. The trick is they are a hotel resort and want to sell to people the hotel facilities for all meals and even a morning cup of coffee. Which would be fine if they did not advertise and sell these objects as Mobile Homes, because they are not. Legally its a Fraudulent Misrepresentation, defined as any type of lie or false statement that is used to trick a person into an agreement. I mean, if I wanted to eat plastic hotel food among crowds of Visegrád Four tourists I would have booked a hotel, OK ? Avoid these crooks.
