Ok hotel in some ways but bad in others. Nice staff in food areas but was unimpressed by reception staff. Check in experience was quite bad. Wasn't welcomed warmly at all and wasn't given any information whatsoever on amenities, just given our room card. The room overlooked a rooftop of gravel and had the smell of fresh cat poo for our entire stay so we couldn't enjoy the balcony during our stay for these reasons. The room itself smelled badly of damp. The safe didnt work and maintenence man unhelpful and abrupt saying can't fix it and I don't have another one to replace it. Bathroom was spacious but shower is like a wet room with doors to the floor with bad seals so water spread to the whole bathroom. Pros were nice location on the beach, decent gym and good breakfast options, but we sadly won't be returning as our experience wasnt worth the amount of money we paid and we wouldn't recommend to others.

We truly felt welcomed great service beautifully kept and clean. Fantastic base for touring the north Dalmatian highlights. We celebrated my husband's birthday and we were surprised with a lovely cake and card. Marina and her team were amazing can't wait to go back.

My Husband and I stayed at The Adriana the first week of May for 7 nights. Sadly the weather was not too kind to us but the welcome from the Receptionist and all further contact with the lovely Staff more than made up for it. We had a comfortable room on the 1st floor with a view towards the sea, not very big but there was everything we needed including a dressing gown each, a beach bag, beach/pool towels and a pair of toe-post flip flops each. Being Brits we like our cups of tea but there was only a coffee machine and pods in the room. After mentioning this to Reception there was a kettle delivered to the room almost before we had returned. The grounds are very attractive and beautifully kept. We did manage a little sunbathing on the loungers by the pool on the 2 sunny days we had. We could not fault the food. There was a reasonable selection of items on the breakfast buffet plus eggs cooked to order. We ate dinner at the hotel on 4 evenings and could not fault it. The set menu cost €40 per person and we thought it was good value for the large salad buffet followed by a hot appetizer, choice of 3 main courses and a buffet selection of desserts. There is also an à la carte menu but we did not try that. The Staff were all very pleasant and friendly, happy to chat when they had time, and all spoke excellent English. A big shout out to all of the Staff, especially Marina who looked after us well. It is a 15 minutes or so bus ride to the stop nearest The Old Town. The buses, No 8 or 8a, run every half hour during the week and hourly at weekends. Reception will print out a timetable for you. The bus stop is just a short five-minutes walk away. Tip: instead of going to the bus-stop to the right when you exit the hotel grounds, go to the one on the left and you have a better chance of getting on. You pay the driver and it costs €1.59 each. Should we ever return to Zadar we would choose to stay at the Adriana again.
