Hotel Olympia

The reservation process and our stay at this hotel were very confusing. It is extremely difficult for guests to distinguish between accommodation options in the old and new parts of the hotel, which led to us mistakenly booking a room in the old section instead of the new one. Check‑in was extremely slow; we spent more than two hours waiting in line, which significantly affected the start of our stay. The room itself was clean but worn out: the walls were dirty, the door was damaged, and the bed had torn upholstery. The wellness area is small and outdated, not matching the expected level of quality. The dinner included in the “Valentine’s Day” package was disappointing – the food was bland, the portions too small, the atmosphere far from romantic, guests were seated too close to each other, and all additional services were charged separately. Everything in the promotional offer was presented as romantic, yet there was nothing romantic about it. The only positive aspect of our stay was the staff, who were very polite and helpful. Everything else failed to meet expectations. Based on our experience, we do not plan to return and recommend others to look for alternative accommodation that better meets standards and comfort.

Hotel Olympia hosted the best New Year’s celebration this year! The accommodation was excellent, the room was perfectly clean and well equipped. The organization and service were outstanding, with an amazing variety of food and drinks. Great fun guaranteed!

We spent a week here on half board. We paid the extra for a sea view which was great, shame the bed collapsed the first night and the bedroom chair was filthy. We got changed/an upgrade to a 1 bed suite. The hotel uses those dispensers in the bathroom, the room only had shower gel and hand wash (the upgrade had shampoo, conditioner and lotion dispensers too). Drinks were very expensive, 9 euro for a miserable glass of not very palatable white wine and a scandalous 11 euro for Bacardi and coke! Food offering was buffet style, very good range of options but you needed to be early as they didn’t replenish much! This meant early dinner at 7 but too expensive to spend the evening in the bathroom. They moved us around different restaurant locations so no chance to establish our own waiter for service/tips for drinks (we were a party of 5). We were part of a group of 48 but we weren’t seated in a specific area so we never got a chance to break the ice properly. Hotel is on the (stony) beach, has fabulous extensive pools and seating areas. A 15-20 minute walk from town which is lovely, restaurants/bars/ice cream shops/ferry tours. Enjoyed our holiday but won’t be back.

We stayed at Hotel Olympia in a Superior Double Room with a sea-view balcony on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately, our experience was a bit mixed. The room had a constant unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, which lasted throughout our stay. The room itself felt very small and cramped. The bathroom was so narrow that two people couldn’t be inside at the same time. The shower had weak water pressure, and the temperature kept changing on its own during use. The bed was also disappointing – I’m 188 cm tall, and my feet were hanging off the edge. The bed wasn’t wide enough either, which made it uncomfortable. The Smart TV was essentially unusable, as all functions were blocked – no internet connection, no phone pairing, no Netflix or YouTube, only basic TV channels. Another downside: only two sockets in the entire room, both inconveniently located above the minibar and below the mirror, not near the bed. On the positive side, the balcony view was beautiful, overlooking the sea and Olympia Sky from the third floor. Breakfast and dinner were excellent – a wide variety of tasty options, and everyone can find something for themselves. The poolside food and drink selection was also great. The outdoor pools are large, very clean, and always at a refreshing temperature, with plenty of available sunbeds. We also appreciated the two tennis courts and two padel courts within the complex, as well as the lovely beach located just below the hotel. The whole resort area is very neat, well maintained, and feels very luxurious. One downside that really stood out was the parking fee – €12/night for outdoor parking and €20/night for the garage. For a hotel of this category, parking should definitely be complimentary for guests. Overall, while the hotel facilities, food, and location were excellent, the room quality was disappointing, and the paid parking felt unreasonable. We expected a higher standard for a hotel like this.

I stayed at this hotel for eight nights in July, and unfortunately, my experience was not as expected. In the room there was only one outlet, TV was old and small, shower place too small, shower head didn't adjust and didn't move up and down, small beds and everything cheep quality and staff there were quite rude. Additionally, despite being a four-star hotel, everything felt cheap. The food was of very low quality, and it seemed like every service came with an additional cost. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I hope the management takes steps to improve in the future.
