Hotel was ok with stunning views food was terrible, even getting to the restaurant for opening time food was lukewarm at best with very little choice for main meal, getting a drink with your meal was like a lucky dip, there seemed to be no organisation to it, a jug of water on the table would have helped but the head waiter going around with a card machine on his tray showed what the priorities were. The snack bar food was actually hot but pricey, we gave up on our evening meal after 2 nights and used the restaurants around the bay

Hotel is situated in a stunning location sea warm enough to swim in. Rooms are clean and comfortable unfortunately only 1 pillow, no kettle and rules say no kettles allowed in rooms. People did bring them and used them. Minibar is extremely expensive and makes such a racket it’s difficult to get any sleep this was also thoughts of others. Beautiful views from balcony which is small and has 2 chairs a table and ash tray. Also a clothes airer. Pool towels are provided and changed daily if required. Pool is absolutely freezing. Lots of sun beds.Shampoo and hand soap provided. Staff all very pleasant especially Adin. Restaurant: we were only asked if we would like drinks with our meals on 2 nights. 1 small bottle of water was €4. Food was terrible I lived on pizza and melon. Everything else I tried I couldn’t eat and I’m not a fussy eater, others we spoke to gave up after 2nd night and ate out at one of the 4 restaurants around the bay. You will definitely need to hire a car if you want to see the island as no public transport, bay has 1 small supermarket, no other shops 1 cash point and 1 small pub. This hotel is unsuitable for people with mobility issues, there is a lift but it doesn’t go to every floor, there’s no ramps and stairs are everywhere. There’s not a lot for children to do. Hotel is dog friendly.

The hotel is nice but not anywhere close to 4* in my view. The staff are unfriendly / disinterested (with the exception of the reception staff). The bedrooms are nicely done and comfy but the bathrooms are a bit 1970s. The cafe snack bar closes early so it’s not possible to sit and relax into the late evening. Breakfast is ok though the dining room is a soulless noisy place. For example the orange juice was cordial and the bread selection was poor (white baguettes and sliced bread in the main). Brna really is a tiny place - there are several restaurants within a couple of minutes walk but they are a bit rough & ready and have broadly the same menu. There is one shop. The bay is beautiful though and swimming in the sea from the tiled ‘beach’ area is a treat.
