Bellevue Maradiso Casa by Aminess

Lovely views, some hotel staff were kind and polite, Marko bar staff was rude!!! No Customer service skills…. Bar food at lunch time was poor!! We explained what we ordered was not what we got, although they apologised the language barrier was difficult to understand. Rooms were not cleaned, we had to ask reception to get house cleaning to change our mugs on the daily. Rooms were not cleaned just a towel change. Although the hotel was nice be aware some parts of the hotel you must climb many steps to get to your room, no lifts in some parts. I wouldn’t rate this a 4 star hotel.

We stayed at the Aminess Bellevue Maradiso Hotel H/B 14-21 September 2026. We booked a seaview comfort room and were given a complimentary upgrade to a superior room with a lounge. It was lovely and quiet in one of the annex buildings (please note there are no lifts to these). Our room was on a high floor as requested, spotlessly clean with a balcony and felt private with a beautiful view across to Korcula Island through the pine trees. Gorgeous. The main hotel and restaurant are spotless and provide a variety of relaxing areas to sit with a drink and a view. We thought the restaurant and buffet for breakfast and dinner were excellent. We are mostly vegan and like fresh, healthy food and were very happy with the choice. They even provided for gluten free. There were a lot of different areas to sit in and the view from the outside seating area is fantastic. There are a choice of small beaches which were all good for swimming and snorkeling. We loved the Aminess Orson Maridiso beach about 10 minutes walk away. There is a lovely beach bar on the way too. As is typical of Croatia, there are paths and steps everywhere to provide easy access, but if you have mobility problems you may struggle and I suggest paying a little extra for a room in the main building with a lift if in doubt. We split our holiday between Split, Hvar and Korcula - and got the passenger ferry to this hotel in Orebić for the final week. When leaving we had a water taxi booked to Korcula direct from the hotel jetty (€30 for 2 with bags or €20 one way each on the ferry otherwise). Water taxis are available from Orebić to various small islands nearby, and they are well worth visiting. Our favourite was Otok Badija with monastery and deer (yes, deer!). Great for exploring and swimming. Korcula town is gorgeous, a mini Dubrovnik without the crowds. Aminess have a 5* hotel there called 'Korcula Heritage Hotel'. We like to sit and enjoy a coffee outside and pretend to be Jackie Onassis (she famously visited in the 60s). Last but not least the hotel staff need to be mentioned as they were outstanding at Hotel Maradiso. They were like a little family and they created a lovely atmosphere to the hotel we thought. They certainly treated us with great courtesy and couldnt have been more helpful. Sandra, Sanja and Ante on reception, Benjamin in the dining room, as well as Raymond who cared for our room, all looked after us so well. We especially want to thank Renata who was SO lovely and even remembered us from a previous Aminess hotel! What a professional! Please give her a raise and promote her as she deserves it! Amazing view, beautiful rooms, polite staff, great food, near amazing beaches.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean, the food was delicious with plenty of choices, and the location by the sea was perfect for a relaxing holiday. The staff was always polite and helpful. We would happily visit again.

We travelled here from Ireland. We absolutely love this hotel and the location. We also stayed here last July 2025 and loved it so much we returned this July 2026. We found the hotel through our local travel agency. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The location is stunning beside the sea. The hotel staff are wonderful. They are very professional, friendly, kind and helpful. The hotel is extremely clean and we love the great food selection too.
