Hotel Bellevue Dubrovnik

We stayed at this hotel many years ago before kids and that time we were upgraded to a massive suite. This time we had two connecting rooms for us and our kids. The setup worked well and the rooms remain well kept with the only real complaint that the electronic “blackout shades” are not blackout shades at all. The hotel is on a gorgeous little cove. The beach is rocky so water shoes are recommended which the locals have and we did not. It is also very crowded with locals which is totally fine although the beach attendants, who were very nice and helpful when asked, could be a bit more attentive of making sure the sun deck is exclusively for hotel guests. We did see them out on the beach one afternoon cleaning up trash and water bottles, which was great to see. We had a very nice dinner at Vapor and lunch on the terrace the day we arrived. We thought the breakfast was excellent. We did some Ubers but that was kind of silly except to go to Panorama restaurant. Much better off buying Dubrovnik Pass, walking to corner and getting on bus for free to the Pile Gate. The one oddity about the hotel and our time there was that because of where our room was, when you came up from the beach you had to walk through the fancy restaurant to get to our room. Just felt a bit odd doing that to the guests eating a nice meal!

The trip of a lifetime. I almost hesitate to write this review because I would love to gate -keep this gem of a property!! Our experience was phenomenal. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and were upgraded as a courtesy and let me tell you it was EVERYTHING and more...the views, the service, the property, the spa. Ahhhh, relax and take it in and make sure to stay here if you're headed to Dubrovnik. Also, it's walkable to the city center but beware when people say it's 10 min; its more like 20 and the walk back is up hill 🤣

Incredible experience. Was the perfect hotel to cap-off our adventures in Croatia. This is a hotel where you’ll want to stay to enjoy the onsite experience. Rooms were beautifully appointed, fantastic breakfast buffet, great food at the beachside cafe. Make sure to reserve an ocean view room. Worth it.

We’ve been staying at Hotel Bellevue Dubrovnik for the last four years, and we keep going back. The staff in this hotel seem to genuinely enjoy working here and it shows. They are always friendly and welcoming, and this year we were so pleased to see familiar faces again. A particular thank you to Ivana, Pavo, Viktor, Dario, Alen, Betim, Antono, Petra, Srjdin and Anton (and many others including the housekeeping staff that I didn't get the names of)- for always looking after us and making us feel welcome. The location is a big plus for this hotel. It’s a  straightforward 15 minute walk into the Old Town, while having Bellevue Beach right outside the hotel with its own private access to the public beach below means it's easy to relax. After four years, the hotel still feels like a place we can come back to, switch off and enjoy. We’ve had some great stays here and are already looking forward to the next one. ❤️

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful hotel. The location was perfect, it is only a 15 minute walk to Old Town and then about 20 minutes in the opposite direction to Lapad. The hotel is stunning with a lovely atmosphere and excellent facilities, but what really made our experience special was the fantastic staff. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and attentive throughout our stay. A special shout out to Viktor whose kindness, professionalism and attention to detail really stood out. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable, five star all the way!
