Hotel More

Wow, wow, wow! Travelled with my mum for a weeks relaxation in the sun..and hotel more delivered on every single front! The staff were all amazing, everyone greeted you with a smile and warm hello/ciao. Special mention to Cristian who chauffeured us on a private tour to Ston and a winery. He was so pleasant, answered our numerous questions, stopped for photo opportunities and was just a lovely person. The location is fabulous, views from every location, easy access to a smooth path to wander along and the sea for a swim. Rooms were spacious and meticulously clean. Turned down every evening with chocolate and fresh waters left. The spa was lovely, all the ladies- Vespa, Nicoleta and the other lady- I didn't catch her name unfortunately- were so perfectly professional while being friendly too. We each had the more senesation- scrub, wrap and massage which was phenomenal. Then we booked for the hydration facial which was recommended and again was perfect. We felt so spoilt and relaxed after both experiences. The pools were lovely and clean, we were very grateful for a dip as it was so hot during our stay. Easy to get into the old town via uber- approx £10-15 each way, depending on the time of day. (I would recommend doing the city walls at 8am as there was no shade but well worth the effort for the history and views. ) 35mins approximately from the airport with a private transfer. Restaurant Tramuntana and Restaurant More were fabulous, slightly lacking in vegetarian option but still lovely..and heavenly desserts! The only negative of the whole week was one rude waiter in Restaurant Tramuntana who spoke to me rudely, then we overheard him telling walk-ins that there was no availability when there clearly was. Maybe he was having a bad shift!

Spent three nights at this beautiful hotel. First off, we had our own car and parking was super convenient and available. Not the case in most areas of Croatia. Front desk staff was super accommodating and friendly and we were fortunate enough to get a southwest corner room where the views were absolutely breathtaking taking. Huge outdoor patio with comfortable lounge furniture which was amazing. Lounge chairs were available seaside and there were other lounging areas available around the pool if the seaside promenade sun area was full. Swimming off the resort was amazing and the water crystal clear. The cave bar is totally unique and had a great vibe. My only negative is that the seaside drink service is/was horrible. In three days we never had a server come to us to ask if there was anything they could get us and had they, we likely would have ordered a drink every time. We always had to go to the bar ourselves to order and drinks are not cheap at this place which is fine if the service would have been there to go along with the pricy cocktails. Huge breakfast selection daily which was wonderful and overall a great experience. Service was likely a Croatian thing as we noticed this lack of understanding throughout places we stayed in Croatia. We Thought Our Holiday Was Ruined Until We Found Hotel More I can’t believe I never wrote this review. We stayed at Hotel More in August 2024, and somehow I completely forgot to share our experience here. Almost two years later, I am still thinking about this place. Our holiday started with a disaster. We had booked another hotel in Dubrovnik, but it turned out to be a scam. We found ourselves stranded in a foreign city with nowhere to stay, convinced our holiday was over before it had even begun. We called Hotel More, and from that moment everything changed. The team welcomed us with such kindness and professionalism that they completely saved our trip. I will always be grateful for what they did for us. When we opened the balcony door to our room, we couldn’t believe our eyes. Calling the view beautiful would be a huge understatement. It was absolutely breathtaking. Every morning we woke up to one of the most spectacular sea views I have ever seen. The location is simply magical. The promenade along the cliffs is unforgettable. Crystal clear water, the scent of the pine forest, and the peaceful atmosphere made this place feel like paradise. The greatest treasure of Hotel More is its staff. Every request we had was met with a smile and a genuine desire to help. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They made us feel welcome from the first minute until the moment we left. Almost two years have passed, and I am still under the impression of this incredible place. Saying that I have recommended Hotel More to hundreds of people would not be an exaggeration. I honestly cannot count how many times I have told friends, family, colleagues, and other travellers that if they are visiting Dubrovnik, this is where they should stay. Thank you for giving us our holiday back. We will never forget your kindness.

This hotel is just so, so good. Great views over the sea, lovely rooms, superb service. Lovely gym with really different wooden equipment. Breakfasts are excellent. You have access to the superb Cave Bar of course and can use the sun loungers for free. Swimming in the sea there is magnificent. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and 12 minute walk to local bus to old city and about 10 minute journey. Cant rate this hotel enough.

We booked this hotel to celebrate our 42nd wedding Anniversary and we were not disappointed! Lets get the very short lived negative thing out of the way first.... We booked a room with a balcony and a sea view. When we arrived at the hotel, we discovered that there were air conditioning units going down the side of the hotel alongside the balcony ( a stunning balcony on room 417) which were creating some noise. We contacted reception and spoke to Katy who dealt with the issue with with the utmost professionalism and said they could offer us an alternative room the day after. However, by the following morning, we were in such total awe of our surroundings that actually, we no longer saw the need to change rooms...everything else was so perfect. In fact we still spent a couple of late evenings on the balcony with bread cheese and wine just enjoying the ambience. The room was immaculately clean and nothing seemed too much trouble. Our house maid, I want to say her name was Malina but I don't totally remember was superb and when we broke a glass on the balcony one day, she left us a note to say not to worry, she had cleaned up any debris and to enjoy the rest of our stay. The bed was particularly comfortable and I've read on previous reviews that that the A/C closes off at night time? Ours didn't in fact, a couple of nights, hubby and I woke up chilly! Breakfast was amazing...I would challenge anybody that said there was something missing from the buffet menu/a la cart choices for ordering. I wouldn't hesitate to return to Hotel More....tomorrow if I could. We had an amazing time! Keep up the good work guys :-)
