Hotel Osmine

Quite a large hotel in a secluded position. Reading the reviews, I was expecting something quite different to what I found. I was lucky to be near the restaurant and exit for the beach but you could quite possibly be a good walk from these areas. I was staying on an all-inclusive, basis, which was just as well because it was a 40 minute walk to Slano, a quiet and pretty village with a marina. This is a good point to mention food Breakfast usually buffet fare. Lunch-sometimes better than the evening choices. Evening- it was always a nice experience with friendly staff. Whilst the food was varied on the hot counter, the salads were pretty similar every day. I only had wine and sparkling water so I can’t really say much about the drinks, but it would’ve been nice to have some cava, possibly at the bar, but it was not available. The beach was really nice with pedals, kayaks and Sup available to use free for an hour. When the daytime activities were on, it was a little bit loud by the pool, but other than that, it was pleasant to be by the pool/beach area. The walk to Solano was pleasant and from the centre near the roundabout you can catch the bus to Dubrovnik . Although I took advantage of the hotel bus which left at 7:30 am and returned at 2 pm. It meant avoiding the crowds in Dubrovnik. Do your research and pick a day when they are no cruise ships coming in. The information is available online. Had such a lovely holiday with perfect daytime temperatures and light jacket temperatures in the evening. End of September is a good time to come. I would come back in a heartbeat 😊

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Osmine and would happily return. The location is absolutely beautiful, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice. We particularly enjoyed having access to the kayaks, paddleboards and pedaloes, which added to the holiday experience. The staff were one of the highlights of our stay. Every member of the team was friendly, attentive and always willing to help. It was lovely to be greeted with a cheerful "good morning" or "good evening" whenever we crossed paths. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. A special mention has to go to the housekeeping team, who are worth their weight in gold. They worked incredibly hard to keep everything fresh, clean and well-presented throughout our stay. The only downside was the hotel's location in relation to public transport. The nearest bus stop is around a 30-minute walk away, and taxis cost around €15 for what is only a five-minute drive. I suggested in my survey to the hotel that a shuttle bus service could be a great addition for guests wanting to explore the local area more easily.That small issue aside, we had an amazing stay. The beautiful setting, excellent food, wonderful staff and relaxed atmosphere made for a memorable holiday. We'd highly recommend Hotel Osmine to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway & great value for money. 🌟

This is a lovely hotel with beautiful views you would never get tired looking at something to do all day pedelos kayaks watet aerobics the entertainment team always had something going day and night crazy bingo was a great eveming staff very friendly and nothing was to much bother food brilliant fantastic selection for everyone and drinks a plenty from pool bar to the lounge and when you eat beer wine tea coffee snd soft drinks avalible with snacks at pool bar at 4.30 and 11.00 in the lounge would love to go back sometime.

We stayed 11 nights on a Jet 2 all inclusive package. After reading some reviews I didn't know what to expect, but gladly, I guess most people have more of an expectation of getting a "champagne holiday for brown ale money", in short I thought this holiday was extremely good value, ok there is no kettle in the room, just bring your own like we did, the fridge being empty, its not the end of the world, I don't think I have ever been to a all inclusive that has a free full mini bar, the nearest one was pop and water filled daily in Cuba. The staff are great, a couple could do to smile more, but generally they are a lot of fun and speak really good English. The food is not "ultra processed" at main meal times, admittedly the afternoon pool bar snack service certainly is, but you don't have to eat it. The 3 meals a day are very good and plentiful, ok I had a couple of lukewarm dishes but you will always get that on a buffet style service. A special mention is for the toaster, chuck it away and get the hotel conveyor toaster instead. We paid the extra for a premium sea view room, it was worth every penny, the scenery is to die for, I would never get tired off looking at the view. There is free pedaloes, kayaking, paddle boards and plenty of stuff to do in the day if you want to get involved. The drinks at the bars and restaurant are all Croatian, some better than others, but you will have the time to see what you like and what you don't. The hotel is at the end off the bay with a flat walkway in to the town of Slano,its a typical ex fishing village, we found the locals very friendly and spoke English. The entire hotel and grounds are spotless, the air-conditioning works perfectly well. To sum it up, its a great hotel if you want to do nothing. Would i come back? This being our second trip to Croatia, probably not, would i recommend this hotel to my friends and family, HELL YES!!!!
