Hotel Osmine

This is a lovely hotel with beautiful views you would never get tired looking at something to do all day pedelos kayaks watet aerobics the entertainment team always had something going day and night crazy bingo was a great eveming staff very friendly and nothing was to much bother food brilliant fantastic selection for everyone and drinks a plenty from pool bar to the lounge and when you eat beer wine tea coffee snd soft drinks avalible with snacks at pool bar at 4.30 and 11.00 in the lounge would love to go back sometime.

We stayed 11 nights on a Jet 2 all inclusive package. After reading some reviews I didn't know what to expect, but gladly, I guess most people have more of an expectation of getting a "champagne holiday for brown ale money", in short I thought this holiday was extremely good value, ok there is no kettle in the room, just bring your own like we did, the fridge being empty, its not the end of the world, I don't think I have ever been to a all inclusive that has a free full mini bar, the nearest one was pop and water filled daily in Cuba. The staff are great, a couple could do to smile more, but generally they are a lot of fun and speak really good English. The food is not "ultra processed" at main meal times, admittedly the afternoon pool bar snack service certainly is, but you don't have to eat it. The 3 meals a day are very good and plentiful, ok I had a couple of lukewarm dishes but you will always get that on a buffet style service. A special mention is for the toaster, chuck it away and get the hotel conveyor toaster instead. We paid the extra for a premium sea view room, it was worth every penny, the scenery is to die for, I would never get tired off looking at the view. There is free pedaloes, kayaking, paddle boards and plenty of stuff to do in the day if you want to get involved. The drinks at the bars and restaurant are all Croatian, some better than others, but you will have the time to see what you like and what you don't. The hotel is at the end off the bay with a flat walkway in to the town of Slano,its a typical ex fishing village, we found the locals very friendly and spoke English. The entire hotel and grounds are spotless, the air-conditioning works perfectly well. To sum it up, its a great hotel if you want to do nothing. Would i come back? This being our second trip to Croatia, probably not, would i recommend this hotel to my friends and family, HELL YES!!!!

I am currently staying here as part on all inclusive 9 night holiday with Jet2. This was a surprise for my birthday so I didnt know about it until 2 days before we were arriving. I was a little concerned by the poor reviews but I honestly don't know where they have come from, the food is fantastic, fresh and varied. The service has been great and the staff friendly, maybe you get back what you put in on thst front!! No there wasnt any water in the room but we bought a bottle each with us from the airport and there is no issue filling these up from the restaurant or pool bar. There was only 1 room key card which I did find strange, I was charged 8 Euro for another but no big deal all things considered. There were only 2 pillows for the both of us so I requested more which was no issue and were delivered to our room. We havent been into Debrovnik or Slano yet as only arrived a couple of days ago but the location us BEAUTIFUL, the view from our room (3rd floor) is spectacular, we have a sea view room and the sun rises right in front of our balcony. There is also a fridge in the room for storing milk etc. The aircon does work, it just doesnt work if the balcony door is open so maybe this was the problem some of the other guests were coming across. Top tips though, if I was coming again, I would bring a small kettle (I did bring tea bags) so that I didnt have to venture all the way down for my morning cuppa. I would also bring a bigger water bottle. The beach is pebbly so beach shoes are a necessity for swimming in the sea, these can be bought from the shop in the hotel for 10 Euros. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again, don't be put off by the moaning Minnie's that love to leave a bad review!!

We are on an All Inclusive holiday. I’m not sure the Croatians know what All Inclusive means. Fridge in room, empty. Not even a bottle of water. When I asked for some €5 per bottle (500ml). No tea or coffee in the room, go to the restaurant (which is a 15 minute walk via 2 lifts away). The bathroom is fitted with one type of liquid soap. For Face, Hair, Body. No Hair Conditioner. I requested an iron and board so I could iron my clothes, NO, they have a service for that, €4 for almost every item. Getting a smile out of the staff is like pulling teeth. Day 1 is not going great.

Where to start. First of all this is not all inclusive. We were only given one key card and we told it was 5€ for a second. A small bottled water was 5€. Drinks etc were not offered all day, just at set times. Service extremely rude, I was laughed at when I asked if the air con could be switched on. I was told not possible and the weather wasn’t very warm. It was around 27c, I call that hot. As I struggle without air con this was a deal breaker and we ended up moving hotels after enduring 3 nights. The food and drink was of the lowest quality I have ever had the misfortune to come across. We ended up eating out. In short, if you value good service and value for money you need to give this place a wide berth.
