The decor for this hotel looks like something from a movie made behind the iron curtain in 1965. The staff is generally grumpy. There is only so much cleaning you can do in a room with threadbare carpeting. The beds are 18 inches off the floor while the view from the room is wonderful, you don’t want to spend much time in your room. The food is average.

Beautiful views and an amazing location in Korčula — the sea and sunsets were unforgettable. However, we stayed in mid-May and were disappointed that the jacuzzi had no hot water and the indoor pool was closed. These amenities should either be working or clearly communicated to guests before arrival.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It was beautiful the staff were friendly and competent and the rooms were large and beautifully appointed. The food was amazing with all kinds of different cuisine and flavors. We would definitely come back here again.

I was apprehensive about coming to this hotel after reading some reviews. I need not have worried as everything was good. Room although small was clean and fine for us. Breakfast had plenty of choice. Husband did three rounds every morning so he was more than happy. Staff were very nice and any problems sorted swiftly. Sadly because almost end of season some restaurants started to shut and some days were wet and a bit chilly. Should have gone a week or two earlier. Korcula town is beautiful as is the whole island

We stayed at the Marco Polo hotel in Korcula from 16th - 21st September 2025...it was absolutely superb! The staff were friendly, efficient. professional and super-helpful....such a pleasure to talk to and always so polite. Our room was amazing - a fantastic view of the town with far more space than we expected - beautifully clean and comfortable - everything we needed and it felt like real luxury. The breakfast was also lovely - lots to choose from and all good quality. The only thing I might say is that there was no 'fresh' fruit juice available but otherwise everything was fine. We ate in the dining room on one occasion and there was a Dalmation folk group entertaining the diners -- a really unexpected bonus and so lovely. The pool area was wonderful - plenty of shade available to sit in and eat a snack from the bar and also more than enough loungers to use to doze off after a cocktail. The location of this hotel is absolutely ideal..... walking distance of everything you could want in the town...including a pleasant path to take round to the next bay. We had a wonderful time and would love to return!
