President Hotel Valamar Collection

Our first time at a Valamar hotel in Dubrovnik. The President Hotel sits at the top end of the five star rating for quality of accommodation. We chose the V level option which provides a luxury upgrade to the normal five star rating. All the staff were welcoming and customer focused but, Maria went the extra mile to ensure that we had the best possible experience in the Momenti at breakfast. A very enjoyable experience all round.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful week at the President Hotel, Valamar Collection in Dubrovnik and had such a lovely stay. The location is absolutely beautiful, with incredible views across the Adriatic, waking up to that view every morning was definitely one of the highlights! Our room was lovely, comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the whole hotel has a really relaxed feel. Breakfast was excellent with loads of choice, and we really enjoyed being able to sit and take in the views. The beach and pool areas are gorgeous too and were perfect for relaxing during the day. What really stood out though was the team. Everyone we came across was friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and made us feel very well looked after. The hotel is also a great base for exploring Dubrovnik. It was easy to get into the Old Town, but lovely to come back afterwards to somewhere quieter by the sea. We were there celebrating our anniversary, so it was a special trip for us and the hotel was a big part of making it so memorable. Beautiful hotel, stunning setting and genuinely lovely service. We were very sad to leave and would absolutely return. ❤️

Great location. Our room had a small patio with chairs. The view was spectacular. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel food very good. Breakfast buffet was excellent and we ate in the bar area several times and food very good.

This is our third time staying at The President Valamar Hotel in Croatia and it didn't disappoint To walk in to the lovely bright reception with stunning views and to be greeted by a cheerful Autun who was so helpful not only throughout our stay but also facilitated a quick and efficient check in ..made an excellent start to our break We were V level guests and our room which was conveniently on the same floor had a beautiful view of the sea .Breakfast in the Momenti provided a good choice of cooked or buffet but the best part was being met with big smiles by Gravrillo MariJo, and Bozena who all remembered us from last year provided us with a lovely relaxed but excellent and professional service . I must also mention Vedron who served us in the V leval court yard and Ivan who served us coffee on the terrace both remembered us again greeting us with smiles these members of staff remembering us (considering how many people they meet over the year) made us feel very special and they are a credit to the hotel There are lovely different areas in they hotel to be enjoyed and it is beautifully located the standard of food and service is excellent from management to room service I must also give credit to the hotel that the above mentioned members of staff are here from last year reflecting on it being a happy place to work which was evident during our stay

I am absolutely loving my stay here. The hotel is beautiful, spotless, has incredible views, and there is so much to do that you could honestly spend two full days here, never leave the property, and still have an amazing time. But the real cherry on top is the staff. Every single interaction I’ve had, from check-in, to lunch, to simply ordering a cappuccino , has been fantastic. A special thank you to Duško at La Mar! I absolutely adored the service. He was so helpful guiding me through the menu, recommended a dessert that I ended up loving, and then went above and beyond by telling me exactly where to go around the hotel and what time to be there to catch the best views. And I have to add: I work in customer service myself, which means I am probably more easily irritated than most when people don’t act right 😅 — but everyone here has been genuinely wonderful. Beautiful hotel, incredible setting, and an exceptional team. I’m so glad I chose to stay here. I also have to mention how incredibly clean the room and bed were ; the sheets were crisp, bright white, and spotless, which is something I always worry about in hotels. I felt so comfortable that I slept until 10 AM, which literally never happens to me!
