Remisens Hotel Epidaurus

First impressions last! We was greater by the most miserable hotel receptionist I ever had the pleasure of meeting. We had booked a sea view room but we was given a car park view room, we complained but that fell on deaf ears. We was told to prove it!! I was shocked at the attitude. She is more suited to be a prison guard than hotel receptionist. We had a breakfast only deal, the food was rubbish just no care going into making the experience enjoyable. We never did get the room we booked but didn’t want that to spoil our break. Then on check out our flight wasn’t until later on in the evening so asked if we could have somewhere to get changed later, but this was refused and told us we don’t have anywhere.

It's a really good location, with lots of lovely restaurants in Cavtat only a short walk away. The boat trip to Dubrovnik is great too, or if you'd prefer an Uber, it's only 20 euros. The hotel is definitely geared towards an older audience. I'm not sure if that's due to the time of year my friends and I went, but a busload of OAPs turned up daily. The breakfast buffet is okay, but there's not much choice unless you like fatty bacon and cold eggs. Our room was on the 4th floor, which did NOT have a lift, so that was a pain as we had two big, heavy bags and had to carry them up the stairs with no help from the staff. The rooms are nice and clean. - Its a good hotel, if you are just going to use it to stay and sleep, much better food places and atmosphere outside of the hotel.

A beautiful location right on the beach. A lovely hotel with lovely staff and a super experience from start to finish. Location was perfect, 10 mins from the airport, 15 min walk from the harbour and Cavtat in general. Spotlessly clean everywhere we went and so well serviced. The food was lovely and plentiful, good selection of dishes. There was an entertainment crew every day doing activities down by the pool bar and plenty of sun loungers. We didn't stay in at night because we liked to walk and get a drink or ice cream in the harbour. We would definitely stay there again..

Lovely hotel. Rooms are small but tidy. Loved big lobby area,very clean and nicely decorated. Staff are friendly and helpfull also hardworking. Restorant is very big with plenty od fresh coocked food. A sea view room is a must have,so you can enjoy your drink and watch beautifil sunsets.
