TUI BLUE Kalamota Island Resort

Happy to be back and to mention that this hotel makes us feel like home! We’ve been there in May and came back in September. Never been happier to share this experience with everyone. Can’t wait to come back again! Speacial mention to Bojana who was amazing in her service. Somehow she managed to serve us in every occasion. For the lunch at the lovely terrace & for dinner inside the restaurant. Amazing cocktails from Angel at the main bar, and thanks to Dimo as well. Theese guys are amazing!

This Island was absolutely fabulous. The flight over was great, we were met by a taxi at the airport and taken to the Port for a waiting boat (although some people had already waited 2 hours)! The boat ride was about 40 minutes and very enjoyable but make sure you have water with you. The island has very little to offer other than beautiful views, walks around the Island and not for those with disabilities. The Tui Blue hotel was fabulous but again, be warned and it is clear in their literature, you could end up walking 120 steps to your room!!! We are both 70 and fit, we were lucky to be allocated Block 2 bottom floor - there are no lifts. Room was great, clean sheets/towels every day, tea/coffee making facilities and fridge, plus hair dryer and safe (free). Restaurant and all staff were amazing, very attentive as were the pool bar staff. Sea is so clear, pool was lovely, entertainment in the evenings, just check everything out on the Tui app. If you want a very relaxing, quite adult only holiday doing not a lot this place is paradise! No cars, 1 small supermarket and 1 small gift shop. We personally found 7 days long enough. There were trips to Dubrovnik and the other islands but we decided to enjoy just this treasure place.

After a difficult year with illness in the family, my husband and I needed a relaxing break and this is exactly what we got. Our sea view room was wonderful with views over the bay. It was spotlessly clean and spacious. We always had a good nights sleep. All members of staff throughout the hotel were kind and courteous. Plenty of sun beds etc around the pool and on the beach. We were able to find a quiet spot away from these in other areas around the hotel. A lot has been said about the food so I will not dwell on it only to say that we found it to our liking and we’re not disappointed. A special mention must go to all the staff who made my birthday special I had whilst there, with a lovely room, delicious cake and not seen before towel art cake. Many thanks to you all.

I always love sharing what I enjoy most about beautiful hotels and destinations, and TUI BLUE Kalamota Island was certainly a stunning place to visit! My partner and I recently stayed here for a few days, and we had a lovely, relaxing time overall. Firstly, the destination itself is absolutely beautiful. We spent a few days relaxing by the pool, which did not disappoint. There was always plenty of space to find sunbeds, which was a huge bonus, as no one wants to spend their holiday searching for a place to relax! 😅 The entertainment was another highlight of our stay. From live music to fun evening activities, there was always something to enjoy. We got involved in the quizzes and other activities, which made our evenings even more enjoyable. The staff were also incredibly lovely, friendly and welcoming. They always made an effort to chat with guests, encourage everyone to get involved and make us feel comfortable throughout our stay. This really added to our experience! Our room was always clean and comfortable, which made it easy to fully relax and enjoy our time away. However, I would also like to mention a couple of concerns, mainly regarding the food. Although the food itself was very tasty, I experienced stomach discomfort on several evenings during our stay. Unfortunately, on our final night, my partner was vomiting throughout the night. Neither of us had consumed any alcohol, so we were concerned that the food may have been a contributing factor. While we cannot say for certain what caused this, I do feel it is worth mentioning, as it did affect the end of our holiday. It may be worth reviewing food handling and quality procedures to help ensure guests can enjoy their stay without these concerns. Nonetheless, I don't want this to overshadow the many positives of our experience. We genuinely had a wonderful time, enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and left feeling that we had a very relaxing few days away. The stunning location, brilliant entertainment, welcoming staff and comfortable accommodation all made our stay memorable. We really enjoyed our time here, and with some attention to the concerns mentioned above, it could be an even better experience for future guests. Thank you for having us. Jade & Jacob

This is a great hotel and a lovely island. There are plenty of boat trips to be had and some great walks. The hotel staff are very friendly however what lets this hotel down badly is the food. We were on an all inclusive package and the food was dreadful. It was the same sort of stuff every day and was very dull and boring. If the food was brought up to scratch we would certainly return.
