Hotel Marina

I was positively surprised by the Hotel Marina. The food there was delicious, bed was very comfortable and the room with the sea view was just stunning. The hotel is placed at an excellent location and there were parties for little kids and adults almost every evening. This is heaven for families with little kids. But I have to criticise staff because,when we ran out of toilet paper,we politely asked the cleaner to give us a new one. He gave us visibly used toilet paper and we had to ask again, only then did he gave us new one. And also, the place is crowded with little kids, but hotel has nothing to do with that. I would definitely recommend visiting it and I will definitely come back someday :)

The Location is great - really close to Rijeka - Opatija and the othet smaall beautiful cities. It is really close to the sea, when you once park your car you just have to enjoy it. The only minus is that you have to pay for the parking which is expensive and not ok. Atmosphere in hotel is great, the service is professional and really helpful, always knows the right answer. Service is great at the restaurant and also at the reception like tje room cleaning also. The rooms are quite nice - not special big but enough for everything you need for your vacation …. Bathroom is really small enough for one adult person really small could be a little bigger. The floors are grey and little darky which is not ok for a family hotel full of children - Recommend to paint the walls in happy colors just for children….. food is perfect everyday a big variety of meals just desert with sweet cookies is not so good typical hotel food - nut real good cakes …. Animation is great / team is really good and can handle everything with children …. The mascot Liri and Lily great idea and every night mini disco and show - super performance. All in all very good hotel for families with children for a good vacation in Primorje Croatia .

This was a really nice place to stay. The staff were really professional, and helpful - when my airport drop off got me there before the 3pm check in time, and the room wasn't ready they got it sorted so I could check in for 2pm, and leave my suitcase in a room by reception until then. The room was very clean and had a good courtyard view where I could also see some of the hillside behind. I did use my earplugs a couple of nights, but this was more because I was in bed quite early for early starts next day. Being outside of school holidays it was mostly older guests while I stayed, and also a few pets, which was nice to see! It looked like they were geared up and ready for kids at other times of year, with special areas/kids club set aside. For breakfast and evening meal, I thought there was a great selection for both, with some interesting variety with some of the dishes. The hotel bar also seemed reasonably priced, too. I didn't use the inside pool at all, but the outside pool was pleasant, and it is a very short walk out of the hotel onto the pebble beach. There's also a supermarket very close by, and the hotel reception staff provided me with a copy of the bus timetable for the stop just up the road (it's fairly quick and easy to use the local bus service to go to larger resorts or the city of Rijeka up the coast.) It's very well placed for Moscenicka Draga itself, too, being very much in the middle of the village's sea front, from the hotel I was able to walk up into the mountains behind the hotel quite easily to see the high village of Mala Ucka, and the closer village of Mošćenice helped by the clearly signposted and marked trails, and a copy walking map from the nearby tourist information office. I would be very happy to stay again.

Great place for families. Wondeeful location. Not great for guests without children. Buffet food was ok, but not great. Very nice restaurants outside the hotel on the seaside. Hotel feels old with a bit of refurbishment. Room was clean and bed was comfortable

Have enjoyed the stay here so much I've felt compelled to write a review! The hotel is great, really friendly service, smart, modern and extremely clean. Very good choice of excellent food, location is right by the beach, it's beautiful to watch the sunrise in the morning; and there's lots of lovely little bars to sit and enjoy the view. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are really comfy. I've had a lovely week here.
