Hotel Paris

Really disappointing stay. Our room smelled bad, there were mosquitoes, and the noise from the casino next door made it hard to sleep. We complained to reception, but unfortunately, the manager did anything to help. We definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

This hotel is ok. The entrance is a bit cramped and tight. However - the balcony/stoep to sit and eat or have a drink is great.

Hotel is at a great location. Staff very helpful and super nice they parked our car and brought it back when we needed it. Parking is a bit of a problem in the city but hotel staff or in our case owner parked for us him self. They have great selection of breakfast that’s included in price. Casino is super fun not big but has enough of machines and tables. If I can give 15 stars I would. Will be back for sure.

The carpet in the room is filthy. There was a dirty case on one of the pillows. The maid did not replenish used tea bags or sugar. When I went down early to ask for some I was told I was being charged 3 Euro for a tea bag and two packs of sugar. I made my own tea. The shower is poorly constructed and floods the entire bathroom. I had to engineer a dam out of the bathmat so I wouldn't slip and break something while brushing my teeth.

Absolutely the worst hotel I have stayed at in the last 50 years. Infested with mosquitoes and the smoke from the casino was in the rooms as high as the 5th floor. Spent 2 horrendous nights there. Everyone was all bit up after the first night. When we got back to the hotel for the second night there were blood stains all over the walls as they had someone kill the mosquitoes. Who knows what these bugs were carrying. People had very swollen parts of their body, I had multiple bites on my face and hands. The only hotel staff, 1 man, told us that mosquitoes was no reason to change our room, as we stood at the desk with bites on our face. He said he had no authority..... We later heard that the hotel had a bed bug problem, fumigated the place, and opened all the windows to air the place out, and that is how the mosquitoes got in. The air conditioning in the entire hotel had been turned off for the winter so we were not able to use it to stop them from flying. Stay clear....!!!!!
