Jezero

Location : perfect Rooms : meh For us it was all about location!!! Hotel Jezero and one other hotel which I believe is under renovation have direct access to park. That was the deal breaker for us . It meant we had early and late access to the park before the buses In our mind it was a place to sleep and have a shower giving us time to do both lakes across two days Two places for dinner . Buffet or Al a Carte. We went al a carte and it was a Nice dinner. Buffet breaky was great with plenty of choice to charge us up for the next hike.

Thank goodness only 1 night here, step back in time, the staff need training in how to smile and be helpful. Rooms are so old and outdated and smelled of smoke. Breakfast was OK nothing special, the hot food was cold . Tried to leave our luggage at reception while having breakfast but not possible!!! So back we went to room with the luggage. Thank goodness didn’t have the buffet dinner for 30 euros some in our group did and said it was like canteen food. Go to Black River restaurant 5 minutes away was excellent.

Unfortunately, I had a really disappointing experience at Jezero Hotel. The room did not live up to expectations, and the service was far below the standard you would expect from a three star hotel. This hotel is very very old, and definitely need a big renovation! The food was another MAJOR disappointment. The quality and selection were more like a high school cafeteria than a hotel restaurant (dinner and breakfast). Many of the dishes were bland, uninspiring, test less, and lacked any real quality. From seeing the food and tasting it, you can definitely feel and see that they don’t care about anything! Overall, I don’t feel that the price reflects the experience you get. I was hoping for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, but unfortunately, I left very disappointed. I personally would not choose this hotel again and cannot recommend it to anyone!!
