We have spent here a whole week. It was a great holiday, the hotel was clean, well equipped and the staff was kind and helpful. Pag is a beatiful island in the middle of nowhere and the hotel is almost at the tip of it. It was really peaceful to stay here. We spent here the last week of September and there was enough sunshine to use sunscreen and the water was still warm enough to swim in. We only had two stormy days but the hotel has two pools (one inside and an outside as well), sauna, and gym. The massage was great and the masseur lady has suprisingly firm hands (in a good way). The sea is cristal clear. The hotel has its own beach with a lot of sunbeds and parasols - the use of them is free for the hotel’s guests. We have brought our own parasols as well, but thankfully they spent the holiday closed in the car. The beach has one pebbled part where you can walk into the sea - here it is best to use water shoes. If you don’t have water shoes the beach has two ladder which directly leads to the deep water. Since the water is clear, we were able to see a myriad of fishes and some sea urchins as well. The rooms were clean and spacious (both of them), even they have one decent size of desk. I think the glasswall of the bathtub had a design fault. Althought it stops the water from splashing out, but the water could still pour out under it and flood the bathroom - the cleaning lady gave us enough towels for the trouble. We were happy to find that they used one king sized matress rahter than two small ones as we have experienced in other hotels. The cleaning lady came every day. She was really neat; vaccumed every day, changed the bedsheats at least two times a week, cleaned the sunscreen off the mirrors that I have accidently sprayed all over — just to mention a few things we noticed. Hvala Biljana :) Actually everybody was kind and helpful from the staff, and everyone spoke English very well. The receptionist, Stephan, was smiley, explained everything, he even brought us a new safe himself because a previous hotel guest got the old one malfunctioned. When we bumped into each other in the village he noticed and waved at us. The waiters and waitresses were also very kind and swift. Sometimes the restaurant forgot to write the name of the dishes but the staff helped us to choose. The waiter, Jakob, even remembered which beverages we ordered from previous day. They even mixed a special cocktail for us at dinner. The minibar in our room was thankfully empty but the fridge was working in case you would have liked to use it. I read somewhere in the reviews that you can ask the staff to fill it but we didn’t feel the need of it. We store our leftovers there from our 8h long ride to here from Budapest. There is a cocktail bar between the beach and the outside pool. We usually spent the lunch in the surrounding villages of Pag. I think a must see is the Olive Garden — there is there a 2000 years old olive tree o.O and it is a 15 min ride from the hotel. You can park your car in the garage for 10€/day or you can park outside of the garage for free. I think it is a good value for the money. The hotel staff is friendly. We really liked to stay here and will definitely come back :)
My parents recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary at Hotel La Luna, and their experience was absolutely delightful. They chose the all-inclusive option, which turned out to be an excellent value for money choice. The hotel’s location is stunning – the terrace overlooking the pool and sunset is truly breathtaking. Their room was spotless, with a comfortable, high-quality mattress ensuring a great night’s sleep. The bathroom was spacious, and the balcony with a sea view added a beautiful touch of serenity. They were very satisfied with the restaurant’s chef and food selection, especially the variety of fish and meat dishes, the freshly prepared seafood and sauces, and the range of snacks and drinks available throughout the day. As true coffee lovers, they also praised the excellent coffee served in the hotel. The staff were exceptionally kind, friendly, and always smiling, making their stay even more enjoyable. A special thank-you to the Hotel La Luna team for the thoughtful surprise gift in their room, which made their anniversary celebration even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic, and warmhearted getaway on the island!
Great hotel, wonderful experience. We stayed with u august, we will come back next year. Manager Mario is top clas, very kind and professional
The hotel is in a great location, right on the beach. Several people complained that it needs renovating. There is some truth in that, but it doesn't detract from the experience. Plus, the lobby and wellness area are perfectly fine. The staff, led by the manager, are always available to guests, always smiling and very friendly. Special thanks to Olly! Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are perfectly fine. However, for some reason, I didn't think the dinners were up to the standard of the other meals. Regardless, we always ate well. And there was always plenty of vegetables and salad, as well as cakes and fruit. As for the all-inclusive drinks, well, you didn't have to pay for the "better" coffee, nor for some cocktails. And yes, you can't drink internationally known brands of drinks in the all-inclusive package, but everything was still fine. And it worked. :) Plus, the draft beer was one of the best Croatian beers, Ozujsko. So, all in all, it was worth the money, and we had a great time. In other words, if you're not going on vacation to complain, but to have a good time, then you'll definitely have a great time here.
Travelled as a lesbian couple. Felt very safe in the hotel as well as in the country. The rooms are small but comfortable. The staff speaks perfect English, and were always helpful. The location is at the end of the world, which is exactly what we enjoy, but this is rather family hotel. The food was local, not continental, which was an interesting experience. The pastries were not exactly fresh, and neither were the juices at breakfasts. Dinners were more of a gastro-experience, we had to eat elsewhere, but others might love exactly that. There is nothing to do on the island, and nowhere to go. The beach is build from concrete blocks, and the sea is, despite the end of July, cold (22°C). So was the pool. The drinks at the hotel are thrice the usual price. No animation team, nobody to bother you. Sans the cicadas. Location: 7/10 Service : 10/10 Room: 7/10 Bathroom: 7/10 Beds: 9/10 Food: 6/10 Pool and bar: 9/10 I recommend this hotel, if you want to read a book by a pool, not party, and enjoy your free time, either with family or partner. I will not come back. Once was enough.
