Sunny Baska Hotel by Valamar

Hotel location is well placed, approx. near the center of great Vela plaža (beach). Room for 3 had been renewed with taste, beds are of decent quality; bathroom seemed a bit outdated and is somewhat small (but quite enough). A normal-height table (e.g. for computer work) is missing, both in the interiors and on the balcony. Views are nice, even the ones overlooking the cliffs surrounding Baška. Brunch and dinner are top, with varying selection of meals throughout the week; objections are not enough coffee machines and long wait the bar serving drinks during dinner (at least glasses with tap water could be readily available). Kudos to Valamar for providing cooking jobs for some people with minor disabilities. External and internal pools provide great pass time, especially for small children. Two more pool tables in the lobby areas would be a great addition. Personnel is mostly very friendly and polite; I did resent the tone of voice of a receptionist when asked him later in the evening to intervene regarding preserving peace and quiet by other guests. Affordable parking = 3 €/day, opposed to other parking lots.

Great food and frendly staff. Comfortable rooms but no place to dry your towels. Pool good, beach close. All in all a great holiday.

Beware of the elevators. Food tasteless. Pizza/cevapcici good. Family-friendly. Location great (except the noise)

The hotel offers all the services expected for accommodation of this category. The food at the restaurant is decent. The staff is very kind and helpful. Have to complain only that some tables in restaurant are positioned too tight for comfortable seating. Another complain is to the fact that on the web site or on the booking confirmation is not mentioned that parking fee is not included and also that charging for electric vehicles is payable.
