Very nice atmosphere, really caring and friendly staff

Just returned from a week here & we had the best time. We transferred from a Marella Cruise & our junior suite room 340 was ready immediately which was 2 hours earlier than we were expecting. Receptionists very efficient & welcoming. Our suite was amazing to say the least. It had a big lounge area with balcony, wardrobe space & a bathroom, then we had a big bedroom with a massive comfy bed, more wardrobe space, another balcony & another bathroom. It was extremely comfortable & was fitted out to a very high standard. We also had slippers & robes. Coat hangers were in abundance which is quite rare. We had a welcome card, a fruit tray & bottle of wine delivered. Housekeeping was daily & we always got a fresh water left each day. We had a coffee machine but unfortunately we were only given 2 nespresso capsules & we never got a refill so was pretty useless. Despite having the 2 bathrooms she wouldn’t leave towels in both despite knowing we were using both showers, she never left 2 floor mats which wasn’t ideal. We didn’t find the housekeeper that pleasant to be honest, we found her rude & unfriendly, as we were leaving we said our goodbyes & she completely ignored us. This didn’t have a bad impact on our holiday at all as our dealings with her were minimal. The food was always hot & varied & although it wasn’t the finest quality there was always something to have & the choices were not too bad. The allergen signage was very good but more dairy free desserts are needed. The staff work extremely hard & are very friendly & happy. We were allowed 1 visit per week on the all inclusive to Culinarium but unfortunately we couldn’t get a booking until 5 days into our holiday, when we enquired about a second visit we were told they were fully booked. The food & service there was exemplary. We found the wine to be of an enjoyable quality for All inclusive. The entertainment team got people involved & was done by a few people but I never got names except Mahdi a very very friendly & engaging man always happy to chat & get involved. He was never intrusive or pushy he had the right balance. Also the guy doing the quizzes was very funny. We never joined the day activities but everyone seemed to enjoy them. Night time had a mixture of different acts our favourites being the live singers but the silent disco was good fun. Top marks for the entertainment team & their boundless enthusiasm. Mahdi actually came to say goodbye to us & other guests while we were waiting in reception for our transfer which says a lot about his character. The surrounding pool area were well kept & had the biggest amount of sunbeds I’ve ever seen. Never at any point did we fight for a bed which is fantastic & makes a holiday more relaxed. The drinks service was excellent & despite other reviews we had read we were always getting asked for drinks. Towels could be more readily available & being limited to only being able to change them 3 times in a week is a bit restrictive. Tip for future guests The hotel has UK plug sockets. Don’t make the mistake I made by bringing appliances with 2 pin plugs. Thankfully I managed to buy an adapter for my hair straighteners so disaster averted. Shower gel & shampoo is provided. There’s an ironing room so no need to fetch travel irons. Trips into Pernera Protaras & Ayia Napa are well worth it for a change of scenery & are easily reachable on the frequent buses that pass the hotel entrance. We would definitely return to Atlantica Sea breeze without any hesitation as it has the perfect balance what we are looking for in a holiday.

Friendly staff, fantastic food. Pool bar drinks very watered down, entertainment bar we waited an hour for a drink, main indoor bar, at midnight, told to pay for drinks despite being all inclusive guests and lights turned off to encourage us to leave. Spa staff, smoking out through indoor pool window, making the indoor spa pool area smell of cigarette smoke. Room located next to delivery entrance, trucks arriving and running outside of our window daily at 7am, and bin wagons at 2am every few days, walking us up. Beach and sea inaccessible, large rocks on beach and in the sea.

A fantastic massage experience in the spa from Giovanni. He took the time to really work all of the tension out of my body.
