Relaxing atmosphere, clean rooms and hospitable staff

This was our second vacation here—we first visited a year ago and loved it, so we decided to return. This time was even better; it was truly phenomenal! ​Right from the start, the service was outstanding. We arrived at 11:00 AM and were checked in and handed our room key by 11:30 AM! A special and heartfelt thank you to Mr. Nabil Nagah for everything he did for us. He is truly the finest ambassador for this hotel. ​If I could sum up the spirit of this resort in one word, it would be generosity—generosity in hospitality, space, and care. ​Dining & Service: The variety and quality of the food across all restaurants are top-notch. An unforgettable dinner experience at the Steakhouse, special thanks to the manager, Mr. Waleed. We also want to thank Mohamed Gamal at Sidi Ali, Hossam Hassan at Alfredo, and the managers of both restaurants for their exceptional service. ​Special Mentions: Kudos to Chef Gamal Abdel Naser for the delicious waffles, Waleed Hamada at the Lobby Bar, and the fantastic, attentive team at the Aqua Park Bar. ​For Kids: My daughter absolutely loved the Kids Club! They organize fresh, fun activities every single day—huge thanks to Nivo for all the effort and energy! ​We already can’t wait to come back. This hotel has officially become our go-to destination for every vacation! 🏖️✨

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Albatros Makadi Resort and can honestly say that this hotel exceeded my expectations. The resort is huge, beautifully designed and extremely well maintained. Despite its size, everything feels organised and there is plenty of space everywhere. The whole property is very clean, from the rooms and restaurants to the pools, beach and common areas. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Everything was well maintained and the room was cleaned every day. It was exactly the kind of room where you can properly relax after a long day. One of the biggest advantages of this resort is the choice of restaurants. There is a fantastic variety of food, with several restaurants offering different styles of cuisine. The food was fresh, tasty and there was always something different to try. Even after several days, we still had plenty of options. The pools are fantastic. There are so many different areas that you can choose between a lively atmosphere with activities or a quieter place to relax. The water park is also a great addition and there is plenty to do throughout the day. The beach and especially the sea were another highlight for me. The snorkeling is absolutely amazing. The coral reef and the variety of fish make the sea here something really special. If you enjoy snorkeling, definitely bring your own mask and spend some time exploring the reef. What really makes this resort stand out, though, is the staff. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly, polite and helpful. The service was excellent without ever feeling forced or intrusive. From the reception and restaurant staff to the bartenders, housekeeping and lifeguards, everyone seemed genuinely interested in making sure guests were enjoying their holiday. The atmosphere throughout the resort is also excellent. There are plenty of activities during the day and entertainment in the evening, but at the same time it is very easy to find a quiet place if you simply want to relax. I have stayed at several Pickalbatros resorts, and Albatros Makadi is definitely one of the ones that left the strongest impression on me. The combination of excellent service, cleanliness, beautiful facilities, great food, fantastic pools and an amazing underwater world makes this resort very easy to recommend. A genuine 5/5 experience. I would absolutely come back and would happily recommend Albatros Makadi Resort to anyone looking for a high-quality holiday in Egypt.

We visited this hotel at the end of March 2026 and again in September 2026, and we really enjoyed both stays. The food is excellent, with a choice of six restaurants, and the bars are great as well. The sea is absolutely beautiful and the snorkeling is wonderful, although there were occasionally some bigger waves. The rooms are beautiful, modern and newly renovated. The only thing I personally miss in the room is bedside reading lamps, which unfortunately are not available. I would especially like to highlight the excellent service at the Asian restaurant EAST & WEST and its wonderful staff – see photo. A special thank you also goes to Ahmed, who took excellent care of us on the beach – see photo. The cleanliness of the rooms, beach, restaurants and the entire resort is excellent. From early in the morning, you can see how hard the staff work to clean and prepare everything for the day. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back to this hotel again. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable!
