We loved our stay here. We have been to several different hotels over various parts of Egypt and this has by far been our favourite. So much so we are already planning a return trip. The hotel itself is huge. We were a family of 14 and they did their very best to place us close to each other. We were between A and C blocks, and this was fab. Cleanliness was great. People were always cleaning and we were never short of water, towels or toilet roll. All the staff we encountered were super friendly. The people who come by the pool trying to sell stuff can be a bit pushy, so top tip - grab a red flag from where you get the beach towels, and pop it on your table or sun bed and you get left alone. The shop in the hotel is extortionate. So take a wander over to the Red Sea Bazar just over the road. Everything is half the price. Food was fab. Yes it’s typical all inclusive and gets a bit samey - particularly breakfast. But we always had a nice meal and were never hungry. The only slight criticism would be the management of the tables in the Grill. Everyone wants a window seat, so a couple will sit on a big long table of 8. Meaning that us as a larger group were often separated and couldn’t sit together. This does need looking at and a much better system needs to be in place to ensure that smaller groups do not use up the bigger tables. It did get annoying over our 11 nights. Other than that, everything else was perfect. Great location, great staff and great weather. Can’t wait to return.

I don't know about others but old everything does not equal rustic, take a look at the list below: Positives: - marvelous view of the sea - rustic feel across the property - very helpful staff - they checked me in very early - clean is very good Negatives: - bathroom is old - bathroom amenities (no hand soap) - Limited electrical outlets (two and one is short circuited) - Food quality and variety is below average (if thats the case don't offer full board) - very long walking distances from rooms to main gate (many taxis refuse to enter) Neutral: - Location is good, but its a small city after all.
