I liked the city very much. The hotel itself is beautifully placed with very georguoes scenery. Our room was always clean and well kept by the staff. It was never too loud and the service was very good and also amusing. Good food, even if mildly seasoned, and a lot of very nice made drinks.

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful week-long stay at the Arabella Azur Resort in Hurghada, and we are completely in love with Egypt! If you are looking for a charming, picturesque place with a genuine resort feel rather than a massive concrete high-rise, this hotel is an absolute gem. The architecture instantly caught our attention with its beautiful, cozy village style reminiscent of Santorini, featuring lovely domes, winding pathways, and stunning views of the Red Sea from almost everywhere. Our room was spacious, spotless, and came with a lovely patio where we loved drinking our coffee in the mornings. The staff throughout the resort were exceptionally warm, polite, and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. We spent our days alternating between lounging by the crystal-clear pools and snorkeling right off the hotel’s own coral reef, where we saw an incredible variety of colorful fish. The food options were plentiful, and having dinner outdoors while watching the sunset over the marina was a true highlight of our evenings. While the resort itself offers everything you could possibly want for a relaxing beach holiday, we also wanted to explore Egypt a bit. Instead of booking through our hotel rep, we followed the advice of some fellow travelers and looked up a local agency called Sheriff Egypt online. You can easily find them by searching their name on the internet. Booking with them was one of the best decisions we made, as their prices are significantly lower than what the hotel reps charge, yet the quality of service is top-notch.We decided to book two excursions through them, and both exceeded our expectations. First, we took the Cairo trip in a small group of up to eight people, accompanied by an individual personal guide. Traveling in such a small group made the entire experience feel exclusive and personalized—we didn’t feel rushed at all while exploring the Pyramids and learning about ancient history.Our second adventure was a boat trip to Hula Hula Island, and it was pure paradise. The yacht was brand new, sparkling clean, and very comfortable, with plenty of space to sunbathe and relax on deck. The local guides and crew were professional, incredibly friendly, and all of them spoke excellent English, making us feel safe and well taken care of the entire day. If you are planning a trip to Arabella Azur Resort, we cannot recommend them enough. It made our vacation with my husband truly unforgettable!
