Beach Albatros Resort

Beach Albatros Resort is one of those hotels that has a special place in my heart. I have stayed here several times over the years, and my very first visit was with my wife on our honeymoon. Since then, I have returned to this hotel again and again, which probably says more than any individual review ever could. Of course, the hotel is not perfect. There are things that could be improved, and after several visits you naturally notice some of the hotel's age and areas where further renovation or maintenance would be welcome. But for me, these things are more than compensated for by something that is much harder to create or renovate – the atmosphere. There is a genuinely friendly and welcoming feeling here that I really enjoy. It is difficult to explain exactly why, but every time I return, I immediately feel comfortable. The hotel has a certain character and atmosphere that makes it feel familiar rather than simply being another all-inclusive resort. The location is excellent, right by the Red Sea, with a beautiful sandy beach and easy access to the sea. The beach is one of the things I particularly enjoy here, and there is plenty of space to relax, swim or simply spend the day by the water. The resort itself offers everything you would expect from a good Pickalbatros hotel – several pools, activities during the day, evening entertainment, restaurants, bars and plenty of places to relax. The animation team also does a great job of creating a lively atmosphere for those who want to participate, while it is still possible to find quieter places when you want to relax. The food has always been good in my experience. There is a reasonable variety and plenty of choice, although naturally, after visiting several times, you will notice that some dishes and options repeat. For me, that is not a major issue. The rooms are comfortable and functional, although this is probably one of the areas where I would most like to see further investment and modernization. The hotel has been around for some time, and it is only natural that some parts show their age. The staff are a huge part of why I keep coming back. I have met many different employees over my visits, and the overall attitude has generally been friendly, welcoming and helpful. That personal interaction is something I value much more than whether every single detail of the hotel is absolutely perfect. And perhaps that is the best way to describe Beach Albatros: it is not perfect, but it has something special. There are newer and more modern hotels, and there are certainly resorts with more luxurious rooms or more impressive facilities. But for me, a holiday is not only about how new the furniture is or how many facilities a hotel has. It is also about how you feel when you are there. And every time I return to Beach Albatros, I feel good. The fact that I first came here with my wife for our honeymoon and have continued coming back over the years makes this hotel even more special to me. Five stars from me – not because everything is perfect, but because the atmosphere, memories, location and friendly people make this a hotel I genuinely enjoy returning to. I would happily recommend Beach Albatros Resort to anyone looking for a friendly, relaxed and enjoyable holiday in Hurghada. And yes – I will probably be back again. ❤️

Unfortunately, our stay was a huge disappointment from beginning to end. The service was extremely poor and, considering we were travelling with children, the lack of care and assistance was particularly frustrating. When we arrived in our room, it was not properly clean. There were hairs on the beds, the sheets were stained, and despite asking for the room to be cleaned, nobody actually came to properly resolve the situation. This is simply unacceptable, especially in a hotel that welcomes families. When we tried to ask for a room change, instead of showing understanding and trying to help, some members of the staff were arrogant and unhelpful. Our children were already tired and exhausted, and rather than making the situation easier, the staff’s attitude created even more frustration and stress for the whole family. The rest of the experience was equally disappointing. There was practically no space available around the pool because there were not enough sun loungers. The food was very poor, with limited quality and variety. The children’s activities and entertainment were also far below what we expected from a family resort. Overall, this hotel has a lot of potential, but the service, cleanliness, food and family entertainment need significant improvement. Unfortunately, we left feeling frustrated rather than relaxed, which is the complete opposite of what you expect from a holiday. We would not return and, based on our experience, we cannot recommend this hotel to other families.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our stay at the hotel. The food was not good, and the ongoing construction around the hotel made the experience uncomfortable. Our room was also not properly clean, and even after asking several times for it to be cleaned, our requests were ignored. Another thing that we found uncomfortable was that many employees kept asking us to leave comments or reviews about the hotel, which made us feel pressured instead of focusing on our actual experience as guests. Overall, we did not feel that our concerns were taken seriously, and the service did not meet our expectations.

I would also like to thank Mr. Ahmed Eid, Reservations Manager, for his excellent cooperation, responsiveness, and professionalism throughout the booking process. And a very special thank you to Latifa from the Reservations Department, who was extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive. She made the reservation process smooth and easy and was always willing to assist. The entire team made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued.
