The hotel bedroom was very dated and had problems with draining the shower which I had to stop because of flooding, alot of the staff were brilliant Abdul in the pool bar and Mahmoud at the main bar were good lads, also a shout to lilly and tilly two of the animations team lovely girls, I wouldn't come back to this hotel as it being to dated surprisingly the food was very good just my view.

From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. When they noticed that we had two separate bookings to extend our stay, they kindly upgraded our room and gave us a beautiful pool view, which was a wonderful gesture. The hotel’s location is excellent, with everything you need nearby, including cafés, shops, markets, and pharmacies. You really don’t need a car to get around! The hotel is also extremely family-friendly, especially for children. The water park is fantastic, spacious, and suitable for all ages, making it a perfect choice for families. The buffet offers a great variety of delicious food to suit different tastes. We also really enjoyed the restaurants, especially Safar, the Middle Eastern restaurant, and Bella Ciao, the Italian restaurant. Both were excellent, with delicious food and outstanding service. A special thank you to the chef in charge, who was always so kind and attentive. Every time he saw us, he would ask if we needed anything or if there was something special we would like to order. This level of personal attention truly made us feel valued and cared for. What impressed us most was how the entire team consistently went above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and ensure they had a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this hotel, especially for families with children! Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable and special. We truly appreciate all your efforts and look forward to visiting again! ❤️

We recently returned from a stay at Blend Aqua Club in Hurghada. Overall, we had an enjoyable holiday, and there were some really positive aspects to our stay. However, there were also a few disappointments that I think are worth sharing for anyone considering booking this hotel. Airport Transfers and Excursions We booked our airport transfers through Hoppa and couldn't fault the actual transfer service. We were collected from the airport on time, with no issues whatsoever. However, we were asked whether we'd be happy for a representative to visit us at the hotel to discuss excursions, which we agreed to. We arrived on Tuesday evening and arranged for the representative to visit on Thursday. Unfortunately, he arrived around half an hour late, leaving us waiting around. We had already booked several excursions with MTS the previous day but were considering booking a few more. However, the prices quoted were significantly higher than those we'd paid through MTS. As soon as we mentioned that we'd already booked some excursions elsewhere, the representative's attitude noticeably changed. He became quite rude and pushy, which made us uncomfortable. In the end, we decided not to book anything further with him and asked him to leave. MTS, on the other hand, were excellent. We attended their welcome meeting on Wednesday, and the representative was friendly and helpful. On all the excursions we booked, an MTS representative was present and looked after us throughout. We were really pleased with their service and would happily recommend them. Rooms and Housekeeping The rooms were fairly basic but clean and perfectly adequate for our stay. We had a ground-floor room overlooking the pool, with connecting doors to other family members' rooms, which was ideal for us. The housekeeping staff were absolutely excellent. Nothing was ever too much trouble, we received fresh towels every day, and the bed linen was changed every few days. The cleaning team definitely deserve recognition for the fantastic job they do. Food and Restaurants Personally, I couldn't fault the food. You're visiting a different country, so naturally the food isn't always going to be exactly what you're used to at home. However, we always managed to find something we enjoyed eating. We certainly didn't go hungry, and I wouldn't let negative comments about the food put you off. Drinks and Bars The beer was bottled Stella Artois, and the house wine was perfectly fine. There was a reasonable selection of spirits available, including vodka, rum, whisky, ouzo and gin. The soft drinks, however, were a little disappointing. They often tasted very syrupy, which meant they weren't always particularly enjoyable. Overall, the alcoholic drinks were fine, but the soft drinks could definitely be improved. Aqua Park The aqua park is approximately a mile from the main hotel, so it's worth knowing that it isn't right on your doorstep. There is a shuttle bus running approximately every 15 minutes to take guests there and back, which is handy. We actually chose to walk there and back on several occasions. It's a nice, straightforward walk, and we didn't mind it at all. The aqua park opening times during our stay were 10am–12.30pm and 3pm–6pm, so it's worth planning your day around these times, particularly if you have children who want to spend plenty of time on the slides. Wi-Fi Unfortunately, the free Wi-Fi was very poor. It would connect initially but then disappear after just a few minutes of use, which became quite frustrating. We asked whether we could upgrade to a better Wi-Fi service, but were told that this didn't exist. If you're someone who relies on having a decent internet connection while away, this is definitely something to bear in mind. Entertainment and Animation Team Unfortunately the entertainment, was probably one of the most disappointing parts of the holiday for me. We planned some of our days and evenings around the advertised entertainment programme, only to discover that activities and shows were regularly changed or didn't take place. We particularly wanted to see the fire show but were told it had already happened two days earlier. The advertised Olympic Games never took place either, and several evening shows were changed. I appreciate that entertainment schedules sometimes need to change, but when guests are planning their time around advertised activities, it becomes frustrating. There didn't seem to be much consistency between what was advertised and what actually happened. As for the animation team, we only really had any interaction with two members, Lily and Alex, who were both lovely, friendly and engaging. Unfortunately, the other members of the animation team barely acknowledged us, which was disappointing, especially when their role is to engage with guests and encourage participation. I appreciate that there may have been a language barrier, as Alex and Lily both spoke English, but the others didn't really seem to make much effort to interact with us. Shops Within the Hotel Complex My advice would be to be very careful with the prices in the hotel mini-market. We found the pricing extremely inconsistent, and it often felt as though prices were simply being made up. For example, on one occasion, a large bottle of water, a Red Bull and a packet of crisps cost approximately £7. On another visit, a Red Bull and a can of Pepsi cost around £2.28. The worst experience was when my 14-year-old grandson went into the shop to buy a packet of crisps. He was initially quoted €10, and the way the price was presented left him confused about the currency. Luckily, he had his calculator with him and worked out the cost. When he refused to pay and put the crisps back, the price suddenly dropped to €1! This really wasn't acceptable and left us feeling that some guests, particularly younger ones, could easily end up paying far more than they should. My advice is to check prices carefully and agree on the cost before purchasing anything. Late Check-Out The day before our departure, we received a note in our room advising us that late check-out might be available and to enquire at reception. When we asked, we were told it wasn't possible because the hotel was fully booked. Now, I completely understand that late check-out is subject to availability, and we had no issue with being told it wasn't possible. What baffled us was that, apparently, the hotel had known for around a week that it would be fully booked. If that was the case, why send notes to guests encouraging them to enquire about late check-out when there was no availability? It just seemed unnecessary and gave guests false hope. Better communication would have avoided the disappointment. Location and Hotel Taxi Service There are rows of shops just outside the hotel, although we didn't venture out to explore them. We did take a trip to Hurghada Marina, which was approximately 30 minutes away. The taxi cost £35 for seven of us, which we felt was reasonable. I have to say that the hotel taxi service was excellent. The gentleman at the taxi desk was genuinely lovely, extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The taxi drivers were also friendly and pleasant. This was definitely another positive experience during our stay. Overall Experience Overall, we enjoyed our holiday at Blend Aqua Club, and there were some lovely members of staff who made a real difference to our experience. The housekeeping team, Lily and Alex from the animation team, and the hotel taxi service all deserve special recognition for their friendly and helpful service. The food was enjoyable, our rooms were clean, and we had some excellent excursions through MTS. The aqua park was easy enough to reach, either by shuttle bus or on foot, and we enjoyed being able to walk there when we wanted. However, there are definitely areas where the hotel could improve. The constantly changing entertainment programme was particularly disappointing, especially when we'd planned activities around it. The unreliable Wi-Fi, inconsistent mini-market pricing and lack of communication around late check-out were also frustrating. Blend Aqua Club has plenty of positives, but a few improvements to communication, entertainment, guest engagement and facilities would make a real difference to the overall holiday experience. Hopefully, this review helps anyone considering booking the hotel. We had an enjoyable holiday, but I think it's important to share both the good and the not-so-good so that people know what to expect.

We got this holiday on a last minute, after reading some reviews we were unsure about it should have learnt from previous experiences some things will not please other people, but a holiday is what you make it yourselves we had a great time, people moan about the food WHY?? if you can't find anything to eat there then i suggest you stay at home the food was amazing, room was ok cleaned daily, bed was hard, but you get used to it. We had a couple of noisy nights, but it was when the stage was being built for the show night, so we didn't mind as the show was fantastic. But it's the staff and entertainment team that really make this place our favorite barman Ashram always a big smile and helpful, the guys on the beach and the beach bar staff were all great but most of all the Entertainment team who created the atmosphere, the Pocket Rocket Lily lovely to talk to you and so full of energy, Alex so funny was a delight to chat to you always smiling and making us laugh and Maradona too. You made our holiday and look forward to returning (hopefully you will all still be there) Thank you for making our holiday great 😊👌

Have just returned from Blend Aqua. Not the best of starts room wise. But spoke with management and everything was sorted quite quickly. I travelled with my friend, what an amazing time we had. Housekeeping was superb. Both Omar and Youseff. As we had changed rooms. Omar was with us all week. Kept our room spotlessly clean. And was always there if we needed anything. Chef Mohammed and all the staff in the restaurant work so hard. It’s a pleasure to give this review. They were brilliant. Anything you wanted You only had to ask and Chef cooked for us. The staff in the dining room were outstanding. Brilliant service. Again they work tirelessly. The banter and chat and service. Unbelievable. Well Done to you all. Tomi and Leo (we named them on reception ) were amazing. Again nothing to much trouble for them. Pool lifeguards and beach lifeguard’s were excellent. Aqua Park lifeguards Always there to help. So lovely and friendly. Plenty of entertainment and activity going on all day.
