Blend Club Aqua Resort

This is not a 4 star hotel it is a 3 at best we would have given a 2.5 rating if possible. We certainly will not be coming here again. The highlights of our trip were going to hurghada marina (so many cats <3) and going free diving/snorkeling, orange bay is worth visiting we just wish we got more than an hour there but if you can get to Abu dabba beach (3 hours away) do it there are turtles and sting rays and beautiful reefs and the chance to see dougongs. As you can see the highlights were all away from the hotel. Pros... The entertainment team are amazing and so friendly and will just sit and chat with you and make you feel very welcome. Cleaners seem friendly and if you need anything they are happy to help. The water park is good fun. Even though it says it is closed from 12:30 till 15:00 you can still use the pools there and the lazy river. It's just the water slides that get turned off. The pool here is far nicer than the hotel even if the floor is uneven. The beef at the buffet never let us down. And Egyptian bread is worth a try. When it comes to kids the staff are amazing with them and the life guards will play games with them at the pool Snorkeling at the beach we found so much diversity in fish it was lovely Cons... Some of the bar staff are unfriendly and all of them are bad at makeing drinks. The drinks are way to strong and all you can taste is pure alcohol (petrol). Sometimes drinks are not made as requested or just completely miss ingredients. The buffet. DO NOT eat from the out side grill you will get diarrhea in the morning. It happened to consistently for us to be a coincidence. As soon as we stopped eating from the grill the diarrhea stopped. The food gets boring pretty quick as it's all samey same even with the changes. Also preparing for no flavour. Breakfast is always the same and gets very boring the porridge is nice and creamy though. The 2 restaurants are rubbish they just server buffet food on a fancy plate. Every evening we saw them bring trays down from the buffet before dinner time. The hotel pools are FREEZING like almost intolerable but there are always sunbeds available. The beach is filthy there is lots of litter even though there are signs all around the hotel saying how eco friendly it is. The litter seemed to all be on the right hand side of the beach the left side was a bit cleaner. Every so often we saw a lifeguard picking some bits up but not enough. Be careful when going in the ocean on a yellow flag it gets very choppy. And make sure you bring water shoes. WARNING Make sure you tip the cleaner because we had no money out yet on one of the days so couldn't tip and when we packed out things to go home we found a cigarette burn on our suitcase. Neither me or my husband smoke and it wasn't there when we arrived. The over all atmosphere is very lousy and not what you want when you are on holiday. Prepare to be constantly harassed by sales men/ excursions people around the pool and beach and water park. They will try their hardest to get a sale even going as far as to Insult my husband when he told a salon guy he didn't want a hair cut and was going to have one when we get home. The beds... I hope you like sleeping on a rock ...

The reservation experience was very disappointing. I booked 4 rooms through TripAdvisor, only to be informed at check-in that I needed to cancel my booking and make a direct reservation with the hotel. This process was inconvenient and confusing, as I had already received confirmation through the booking platform. Hotels should honor confirmed reservations and provide a smooth check-in experience.

I had a disappointing experience with Blend Club Aqua Resort. I booked 4 rooms through TripAdvisor and received a confirmed reservation. However, upon arrival, the hotel informed me that I needed to cancel my TripAdvisor booking and make a new reservation directly with the hotel. This put me in a very uncomfortable situation after a long journey and caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. A confirmed reservation should be honored without asking guests to cancel and rebook upon arrival. I believe this practice is unprofessional and unfair to customers who trust online booking platforms. I hope the hotel improves its reservation process to avoid similar situations for future guests.
