We have stayed in many hotels, but we have never felt as much at home as we did here. If you are looking for a luxurious hotel with exceptionally high standards of service and professional warm and welcoming staff, this is definitely the place for you… From the moment we arrived until the very end of our stay, we felt truly welcomed and cared for. The staff were always attentive, full of positive energy and ready to help with anything we needed. A very special thank you to the waiter Kerolos Osama and head waiter Mahmoud Samier from the The Palm restaurant. They deserve special mention for the incredible experience they created for us every single day. Their professionalism, positive energy, wonderful sense of humour and genuine hospitality made every visit to the restaurant something to look forward to. They always welcomed us with a smile and outstanding service from start to finish. No matter what we needed, they were always attentive, quick to help and committed to making sure everything was perfect. Their kindness, wonderful energy, and consistently high standards of service truly made a difference to our stay. We sincerely hope your hard work and receive the recognition they deserve! We would also like to thank the entire team at Zaitouna Lounge for their friendliness, welcoming atmosphere and perfect service throughout our stay - especially: Mohamed Hassany, Hamed Ibrahim, Ahmed Abd El Rahman Another big thanks goes to Hussien Shawty, our lifeguard by the pool, for always looking after our comfort and safety, and for bringing such a positive atmosphere to the pool area. As well as pool attendant Mohamed Karam. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and really luxurious place to stay. But beautiful hotel can impress you, but a wonderful team is what makes you fall in love with a place. Thanks to the staff, we looked forward to every new day, every restaurant visit and every little moment throughout our stay. Desert Rose Resort – 7-Night Stay Review We have just returned from a seven-night stay at Desert Rose as a couple, and overall, we had a fantastic holiday. We felt the hotel offered excellent value for money, and we would definitely consider returning in the future. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but thankfully, this did not negatively affect our stay. We upgraded to Ultra All-Inclusive, which allowed us to enjoy the à la carte restaurants each evening. The rooms were lovely, and the staff throughout the resort were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Again we upgraded to a deluxe refurbed room Food and Restaurants We were really impressed with the variety of food available throughout the resort. As part of our Ultra All-Inclusive package, we were able to have breakfast at the Del Mar restaurant, which we took advantage of every day and thoroughly enjoyed. What did feel disappointing was the extra charge for premium beer- even though we upgraded to a ultra all inclusive The à la carte restaurants were highlight, with the French restaurant being our favourite followed by the del mar. ranchero was a little dated and food was so so. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the opportunity to try two of the other à la carte restaurants as they were undergoing refurbishment during our stay. The main buffet restaurant, however, was a little disappointing. It felt tired and scruffy in places and would benefit from a significant upgrade if this isn’t already included in the renovation plans. We also noticed a considerable number of birds flying into the outdoor food court area, which felt unhygienic and detracted from the overall dining experience. Bars and Cleanliness For the most part, the resort was clean and well maintained, and the general standards throughout the majority of the hotel were very good. However, we felt that the Sunset Bar and Beach Bar could have been cleaner. These areas didn’t quite meet the standards we experienced elsewhere around the resort, and it would be good to see them brought up to the same level. Staff, Entertainment and Overall Experience One of the biggest positives was the staff. They were consistently friendly, helpful and welcoming, which made a real difference to our holiday. The entertainment team deserves a special mention. They worked tirelessly throughout our stay and were absolutely fabulous. The entertainment in the Flamingo Bar was phenomenal and provided some of the best moments of our holiday. Our main criticism was the constant selling of additional experiences and services around the resort. Whether it was being approached about upgrading to a romantic dinner, booking spa treatments or massages, or trying water sports, the repeated sales pitches became a little overwhelming. While we appreciate that these services are available for guests to enjoy, the frequency of the approaches sometimes dampened the experience. A more relaxed, less persistent approach would make a big difference. Would We Return? Despite a few areas that could be improved, we had a really enjoyable holiday and felt that Desert Rose offered excellent value for money. The lovely rooms, friendly staff, fantastic entertainment and great choice of food all contributed to a memorable stay. With the ongoing renovations, we hope some of the areas we felt needed attention, particularly the main buffet restaurant and certain bars, will be improved. Overall, we would happily return to Desert Rose and look forward to seeing the improvements once the refurbishment programme is complete.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Desert Rose Resort! From the beautiful resort to the exceptional service, the hospitality truly made my stay memorable. I would especially like to recognize Mafdy Ragaai from Bellavista, Adel Saad from Del Mar, and Michael Ramsis from Sandbar. All three were incredibly professional, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. Their hospitality and positive attitudes really stood out and made a big difference during my stay. It’s employees like Mafdy, Adel, and Michael who make a resort experience truly special. They represented Desert Rose Resort with professionalism, kindness, and outstanding hospitality. Thank you to the entire Desert Rose team for a fantastic stay. I would definitely recommend Desert Rose Resort and look forward to coming back!

I can not believe Desert rose is 5 stars, it should be at least a 7 star resort it has got to be the best resort I have ever been to. Not only does it have everything you need, the staff can not do enough for you to make your holiday extra special. I never normally go back to the same place but this time I booked again as soon as I got back

I had a wonderful stay at Desert Rose Resort, but what made it truly unforgettable was the incredible birthday surprise. The team left a delicious birthday cake in my room, which was such a thoughtful and lovely gesture! The hospitality here is outstanding, and the staff really goes above and beyond to make guests feel special. A huge thank you to the entire team and especially to our housekeeper for making my birthday so memorable. I highly recommend this resort and can't wait to return!
