Desert Rose Resort

My stay at Desert Rose Resort Hurghada was disappointing mainly because of the staff attitude and the check-in experience. At first, the staff seemed polite, but in reality, their way of dealing with guests was full of unnecessary stubbornness and poor attitude. We had booked two rooms, but when we arrived, we had to wait for around two hours. After that, we were given only one room, with a very bad view overlooking an inactive/closed resort or village behind the hotel. The staff told us this was the best they could do because the hotel was busy. We waited another two hours for the second room, and when they finally offered it, the air conditioning was not working. When we complained, the staff replied rudely, saying that this was what was available and that we had arrived early. After I got very upset and made a serious complaint, suddenly all the problems were solved. We were given two rooms next to each other with a good view, which clearly shows that a better solution was available from the beginning. Another major issue was the bar staff. Unfortunately, most of them were extremely rude and unprofessional. On the positive side, the restaurant staff were excellent, very respectful, and helpful. They were probably the best part of the experience. Overall, the resort itself may be good, but the guest service and staff attitude need serious improvement.

Loved the place it is wide with many facilities. Positive vibes helpful staff and Mr Milad manager of the restaurant is so kind and friendly.the food is delicious too

Renovated areas which is most of the hotel is Outstanding. Alot of Activities and varieties that fill the while day. Animation team , night shows , volley-beach , beach paddle court,kids area , water park. The Food is amazing! Variety and Quality. The A la carte restaurants are a must try!! We tried the mexican and seafood. The bella vista cafe in the middle of the sea is unbelievable!!!! We sat there in the morning and by sunset. The renovated room is well decorated and neat. At Night we had so much fun in Zaytouna Cafe. Each area there gives you a different experience. Definitely we'll go there again. Higher than our expectation for a local chain hotel.

Fabulous holiday only 20 minutes from the airport.food was good. The staff in the Tropicana bar were amazing, I only caught part of their names so I do apologize but Helal, Saied, Zidan were the only names I could catch, but you were all fabulous. Rania in the beauty salon who did my nails was friendly and professional. Lucia in customer relations was a superstar and sorted a few inquiries. The staff at Flamingo bar, namely Amal was very entertaining! The staff in every restaurant and bar were attentive and efficient. Big shout out to the lovely guy on the beach with the camel. Loved the experience! Ali the very kind taxi driver who took me to the shops and then waited for me to bring me back to hotel. Thankyou so much. Snack bar, Sunset bar, the entertainment team, the cleaners, gardeners, security were all so friendly. Superb service from a great team. Rooms were spotless, air con and wifi no problems at all. Gardens are stunning You have all given me amazing memories. Thankyou 🙏 xx

Well, where do I start,right here I go,on arrival greeted by the reception staff, very efficient and no hassle (unlike on arrival at a couple of other hurghada hotels) on the quick check in ,offered a tasty welcome drink,the porter loaded a club car with our luggage and took us both directly to our room,we were allocated a ground floor near the front entrance on block 6000,on opening the door we were greeted with a bowl of fresh fruit and a plate of cakes,on opening the fridge we were surprised to see some milk,fruit juices and a couple of beers (which were soon drunk) .After a good night's sleep we ventured to the restaurant called The Palm for a breakfast and I must say a fantastic variety of choices, the waiting on staff were absolutely professional 👌 and couldn't do enough for you.As the week went on we found every member of staff inc the gardeners such hard working always smiling,and always a 👋 helo when passing,needless to say we will definitely be back very soon (we think ,no we know we have found the perfect hotel in Desert Rose to make it a regular vacation,many thanks to every single member of staff for our vacation.SEE YOU ALL SOON
