Hotel Mercure Hurghada

I was having an excellent stay at the hotel the animation team were nice and helpful and special thx to Mr Eliya for helping all the time and good hospitality….❤️

Very good hotel and very good service and very good amina

Now the beach and the sea are excellent, the beach beds oK, the tables need some cleaning.There is also some reefs where you can do decent snorkelling. Grounds well kept.. Food boring and not very tasty.If you have ten types of food for the second course you cannot choose more than two as the others are not very likeable.Some dry cooked fish or some sauce drenched fish file will make you avoid fish alltogether. Beverages served in carton , I have never seen anything like this before.Everything is a DIY you make your own coffee, prepare your own cocktail, get your own water.Sweets and fruits decent.Beer is good cocktails good coffee excellent. Room and bathroom very small.You cannot sit on the toilet bowl as you hit the wall opposite with your forehead.Bathroom renovated but walls and doors all cracked and dirty .Of course, renovation going on but not too bothering. Night enterntainment decent except for the games with the guests where they have to play stupid roles like crazy chicken, that s cheap fun on the expense of the clients.Night disco closed. If you are there for only sun sea and beach it s worth it.If not, then better choose something else.

Whatever they may say, the hotel is clearly still under reconstruction, and you can literally feel the dust in the air. Unfortunately, the overall experience is far below the standard I would expect from a Mercure hotel. There are a large number of Russian guests, and there is constant competition for the limited number of sunbeds on the beach. The lack of sunbeds often leads to arguments and unpleasant situations among guests. Both the variety and quality of the food are very disappointing. The cutlery is worn, and there are often not enough plates available. The staff is generally unwilling to provide proper service or assistance unless they receive additional financial incentives. This is particularly disappointing and certainly not what I would expect from a hotel of this standard. If you have high expectations and are looking for the quality and comfort typically associated with the Mercure brand, I would strongly suggest choosing another hotel. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Sad to see such a property fall so far below expectations.
