JAZ Aquamarine

We’ve just returned from an amazing 10-day stay at Jaz Aquamarine, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better holiday! A special thank you to Dahy, who looked after our room every day. He was always so friendly, thoughtful and attentive, regularly checking that we had everything we needed. His kindness really made a difference to our stay. We’d also like to give a huge thank you to Kariem at the Topaz Restaurant. He was absolutely fantastic and always made sure we were well looked after. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his wonderful service made every visit to the restaurant special. A big thank you to all the amazing staff at Jaz Aquamarine. You work so hard to make your guests feel welcome and cared for, and it certainly doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for making our holiday so special and memorable. We can’t wait to come back! ❤️

My family and I have been too hurghada many many times ,been to many of the hotels on the island,on a serious note this hotel had me saying I would never return to hurghada,on arrival we was dumped in a very dark corner and told to sit and wait,we must've waited at least 45minutes before anybody came,the man who then came to see us put a jelly wristband on which looked very dirty to me,then told us to go outside to go to our room,the room was very dark and dismal with just 2 lamps and very dim bulbs,everything was dark wood and awful very tired and grubby looking,the bed was not too bad but we booked a double bed and got 2 singles,i had my grandson with us who was 7yrs old his bed was a baby's cot SERIOUSLY, i told them to take it away we couldn't get another bed for him as the room was small,i had to ring reception to ask for help with the safe as it was closed and the response and the way he spoke to me was as if it was my fault. At breakfast the butter they used was absolutely un edible for me it was like eating a bar of stork margarine,the jams were not very nice and the only honey was black cinnamon honey,the fruit juices had a really awful twang whether it was the glasses or the machine I tried a cup and still was awful,however went to spinneys got some salted butter and pure honey and carton juice it made breakfast good,the evening meals were so poor we ate out,but one thing that really surprised me was no bottled water around the pool or beach the hotel do water dispensers that would be ok if you knew for sure it wasn't tap water and that the glasses were clean in my opinion it didn't meet my expectations of clean, but they did say you can buy bottled water at there hotel shop,i went to spinneys and bought a case,Also if you like the beach then go elsewhere as the beach has very hard sand surface and the water before you even get to it is 800meters out,the length of 8 football pitches a joke how can they say on the beach,the maid in our room Muhammed room 2010,was a complete pain he hung around us every day yet we gave him an English £10.00 tip on arrival he wanted more and more becoming a nuisance,the same as the hotel taxi drivers,one actually asked us for £10.00 and said it would get him and his wife and 2 children a meal,we gave it but really this shouldn't happen,also around the pools where children are was real grass which was worn away and very muddy when kids was in and out of the pool it made the water very dirty I've never had this at any hotel in hurghada,even down to the lifeguards was continually blowing his whistle at the kids yet all they was doing was playing with their buckets in the pool he made them put them away and said there not allowed in the pool just think it made his ego feel good bullying little kids,i personally couldn't wait to leave and as my flight was a late one I asked to keep the room on,I was astounded by the amount they charged for a couple of hours 60 euros,we've never been charged that amount,30 to 35 euros tops in majority of hotels in hurghada but l paid as had no choice,would I go back Hell NO that was a vacation from hell and reception staff and people on other end of telephone from the room need lessons in hospitality and politeness it goes a long way,sorry for the long review but this hotel was a diabolical joke and all the reviews that I read where people loved it,all I can say is they haven't travelled around hurghada enough as there is way better.

Amazing massive complex with so many pools lots of activities, slides beach and an unreal amount of trips to book. Lots of variety for eating multiple restaurants. Housekeeping is outstanding Ahmed kept us clean and stocked up everyday with water etc nothing was too much. Lots of bars and areas to keep you occupied in the evening entertainment team are amazing great all day long. All front of house staff are absolutely fantastic so attentive always chatting and ensuring you have everything .

Stayed for 2 weeks had a very relaxing time rooms were very nice clean..restaurant staff and bar staff are exceptional especially Hassan Mohamed..Ahmed Saad Mohamed.. Aboel Hassan and Hussein Abdelinabi...110% service they provided very thankful
