JAZ Bluemarine

Top highlights: - All of the water has been filtered so all safe to drink and we are a family of 4 and didn’t have any tummy issues. - So much entertainment for those that want it. Didn’t use the kids club so can’t comment on this but it’s an amazing place for kids of all ages. Lovely sand parks with wooden equipment, magic shows, bouncy castle parties, the list goes on. - Food is extensive and the kids have their own sections of staples like pasta and baguettes but can obviously have anything if they are happy to. - Staff are incredible! There’s staff everywhere so you can always find someone to help and they are very attentive, asking what drinks you want from the pool side etc. - Impeccably clean - Gorgeous grounds and plants Things to watch out for: - very slippery floors around the pools, took us by surprise the first day but then you get used to it. - Beach was quite rough sand and there is a tide (I didn’t expect one for some reason). - The door keys are a pain. Ours often didn’t work and I know others in the hotel had similar issues. - Fans in the bathroom are very loud during the night. We did complain and they sent someone but couldn’t change it so just make sure to shut the bathroom door at night and this blocks most of it. Top tips: - all of the pools have different water temperatures. A few are very cold, some warm and a few very warm. If you want nicely warm then I recommend the two pools that have a ‘beach’ section (directly outside Bluemarine reception and by the pool bar in aquamarine). The comfier sunbeds are at the aquamarine. - We preferred the range at the four seasons for dinners. - We did the full day family cruise booked through the rep at the hotel. This was perfect for our 9 year old but a bit much for our 6 year old who would have been better doing the part submarine boat. - The hotel seemed to be the first for any pick ups and the last for any drop offs so I highly recommend taking a private transfer to and from the airport as otherwise there’s a lot of waiting around. - Take enough suncream! Try pricey in the shop on site.

A Good Value for Money ! Overall a good hotel. As a family we stayed here for 2 weeks. And we would recommend this hotel as a sold 4/5 stars. Pros: 1. Food was great plenty of choices. We stayed here for 2 weeks and we never run out of new things to try 2. Rooms, good size and layout was great too. We asked for an extra bed on arrival and that was provided in 5 minutes. Well done! 3. Kids entertainment- lots to do for kids 4. You can actually use 2 hotels (blue marine & aquamarine) which is really cool. Really adds value as you can use both facilities 5. Staff helpful but not intrusive 6. Hotel Grounds are Gorgeous 7. Heated pools 9. Good bars Cons: 1. Kids clubs - they only work 2 times a day for 1.5h , which we found is too short. As a couple we wanted to spend a bit more time together while our kid plays at kids club. 1.5 h is not a lot 2. Beach - good for kids but not great if you want to go for a swim (ankle deep water for 1mile) 3. Distance from our room to beach was about 900m which is a lot. Can be exhausting to get to the beach and back. E.g God forbid if you forgotten a sunscreen . There are golf carts shuttles to the beach but we found they don’t go very often. 4. Blue plastic cups - not great especially for drinking beer. They just too small and not practical. I suggest bringing your own container/cup 5. Cheap worn off sun beds- this was big one for us. The sun beds are cheap , flimsy and often seen better days. Just not nice. 6. Cleanses- while the general cleanness is very good , we found lots of dust under our beds and generally not clean in places out of sight. I have few pictures I too but I don’t think there is anywhere to attach. I could tell a cleaner handy cleans under any of our beds for very long time (1-2 months worth of dust ). As a suggestion for the cleaning manager, I think the time spent on creating towel decorations could be better spent on deep cleaning the room. 7. The evening entertainment can be a bit daft or amateurish. I guess for kids it’s fine but for adults you need a bit more The all above points are benched marked against a 5 star hotel. overall a very good and well maintained hotel. Would we stay there again, probably yeas as you get a lot of value for money and where else you will get a hot weather in March (close to EU)

Wow every member of staff goes out of their way to give you the best experience, very clean and well maintained, great service throughout whole resort! Feels very safe and secure! Too much amazing service to mention any by name… just wow!

Beautiful gardens and bar areas. Could always get a sun lounger. Staff warm, friendly and attentive but overall could be improved: Hotel is on the beach but you can't swim in the sea, just not deep enough - obviously this can't be changed but needs to be clear on booking. WiFi in a family room was not strong enough in the area our 15 year old was sleeping and was patchy throughout complex. Gym small for size of the complex. Constant interruptions around the pool attempting to sell the spa, watersports and photos.

We had a fabulous holiday at Jaz Bluemarine. I would definitely stay there again. Beautiful resort - clean and tidy. The choice of pools and service by the pool was exceptional. We visited ‘The Grill’ for steak one night - well worth the extra money - it was delicious. The all inclusive restaurants were also very good - great variety of foods to choose from. The cocktails were also very tasty! The staff were very friendly and Awny our room cleaner couldn’t do enough for us! Thank you for a great holiday!
