JAZ Elite Asteria

We had a wonderful stay at JAZ Elite Asteria with our two young children. The hotel is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing family holiday. The staff were particularly welcoming, friendly and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to Yosri Monier, who was incredibly kind, helpful and always available whenever we needed anything. His professionalism and genuine hospitality really made a difference and contributed to making our holiday even more enjoyable. We had a lovely time in Sahl Hasheesh and would definitely recommend this hotel to families looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in the Red Sea. We had a fantastic stay at JAZ Elite Asteria and were extremely happy with the hotel and the service. One small suggestion would be to offer more activities and entertainment specifically for children and young teens aged 10–14. Overall, a wonderful holiday. We would give it 19 out of 10!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Exceptional Stay at Jaz Elite Asteria - Luxury, Outstanding Service & Incredible Food Having travelled to many different resorts over the years, I can honestly say that Jaz Elite Asteria has been one of the best and most enjoyable holidays we have ever experienced. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations, from the stunning facilities and incredible food to the outstanding staff who truly make this hotel special. 🥂 Arrival & First Impressions From the moment we arrived, we were treated like VIPs. As soon as we stepped out of our transfer, our suitcases were taken care of, allowing us to relax immediately. We were invited to take a seat whilst check-in was completed and were welcomed with champagne and strawberry juice, which was a lovely touch after travelling. After check-in, we were personally shown to our room while another member of staff brought our luggage up for us. Upon arriving, we were shown the room and the incredible view from our balcony. It was the perfect start to our holiday and set the tone for the entire stay. 🏡 Room & Accommodation The rooms at Jaz Elite Asteria are absolutely enormous and beautifully designed. As you enter, there is a spacious seating area with a desk, mirror and two sofas. This leads through a corridor featuring two large wardrobes before reaching the bathroom. The bathroom itself was stunning, with double sinks and a large walk-in shower. Beyond this was the bedroom, which featured: A huge, incredibly comfortable bed Two bedside tables A further desk area TV Coffee table and chair Another sofa The balcony was also an excellent size, with comfortable chairs and a table. We were lucky enough to have both a pool and sea view, which was absolutely breathtaking, especially in the mornings and evenings. 🍳 Breakfast Breakfast was genuinely one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever experienced. There was an egg station preparing fresh fried eggs and omelettes exactly how you wanted them every morning. The pastry selection was unlike anything I have ever seen in a hotel. Not only did they look absolutely stunning, but they tasted fantastic too. There was also: A huge selection of breads Cereals and yoghurts Fresh fruits International dishes Local options Plenty of choices catering for different cultures and tastes No matter what you enjoy for breakfast, there was something for everyone. 🍕 Lunch During lunch, we mainly took advantage of the Italian Restaurant and White Sands Restaurant, both of which are included free of charge. Italian Restaurant We absolutely loved this restaurant. The lunch menu differs from the evening menu, which was a nice touch. There was a great selection of paninis, pizzas and pasta dishes with a huge variety of toppings and options. We mostly chose pizza and pasta during our visits and honestly could not fault the quality. Everything tasted freshly prepared and restaurant quality. White Sands Restaurant The location alone makes this restaurant worth visiting. Sitting by the beach overlooking the crystal-clear water while enjoying lunch was a highlight of our holiday. We particularly enjoyed the BBQ buffet, which included: Lamb koftas Marinated BBQ chicken thighs Fresh fish options Salads Rice dishes Chips Desserts Everything was cooked beautifully and was packed with flavour. The service in both restaurants was excellent, with attentive staff constantly making sure guests were happy and well looked after. 🍽️ Dinner Main Buffet Restaurant The dinner buffet was fantastic and offered something for everyone. Each evening had a different theme, including Indian, Asian and other international cuisines. We really appreciated the effort made to cater for guests from all backgrounds and tastes. Highlights included: Kids' section Egyptian cuisine section Fresh pizza station Fresh pasta station where you choose your own sauce and toppings Chicken and beef shawarma Vast selection of international dishes The dessert section was incredible. There was a huge selection of desserts that not only looked amazing but actually tasted amazing too. The fresh fruit was excellent, particularly the mango, which was some of the best we've ever tasted. There was also an ice cream station each evening with around eight different flavours to choose from. 🍷 À La Carte Restaurants During our one-week stay, we were entitled to two à la carte bookings, and both experiences were exceptional. Italian Restaurant This was our personal favourite. We enjoyed: Starters Spring rolls Tomato soup Mains Tomato and basil spaghetti Pizza Dessert Mango panna cotta White Sands Restaurant Starters Soup Halloumi salad Main Grilled spicy chicken Dessert Ice cream Both restaurants were outstanding. The quality of food was so good that I would have happily paid for these meals in a standalone restaurant back home. 🏊 Pools The pool facilities are excellent, with plenty of choice depending on the atmosphere you're looking for. There is a large main pool area featuring two jacuzzi-style pools and a huge number of sunbeds. One thing we loved was that finding a sunbed was never a problem. The lifeguards will even bring additional sunbeds if needed and help position them in either the sun or shade based on your preference. Adults-Only Infinity Pool This was our favourite area. The infinity pool has submerged sunbeds within the pool itself, creating a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel operates a fair system where these in-water sunbeds cannot be reserved, and any unattended belongings are removed by staff. This works brilliantly and gives everyone a chance to enjoy them throughout the day. Activity Pool The activity pool was slightly further down and was also huge. This is where most of the daytime entertainment took place. We personally preferred the quieter pools as a couple, but every time we walked past, there looked to be plenty going on and guests seemed to be having a fantastic time. There is also another pool located near the slides and kids' club, making it perfect for families. The reservation policy for the main pools allows sunbeds to be reserved for up to two hours, which we felt worked extremely well. A special mention must go to Ali and the entire lifeguard team, who were brilliant throughout our stay. The level of service around the pool was incredible. Every day, lifeguards would even come around and clean guests' sunglasses for them - just one example of the small touches that set this hotel apart. 🏖️ Beach The private beach is beautiful. There are plenty of sun loungers available, meaning there is absolutely no need to wake up at 6am to reserve a spot. The sea is crystal clear and stunning to look at, making it the perfect place to relax. It was a wonderful addition to what was already a fantastic resort. 🌴 Grounds & Hotel Design The entire hotel is absolutely immaculate. From the gardens and landscaping to the interior design and public areas, everything is maintained to an exceptionally high standard. Everywhere you look feels luxurious, modern and aesthetically beautiful. 🎤 Entertainment & Drinks Most evenings we spent our time at Bar 22, which quickly became one of our favourite spots in the resort. The atmosphere was always lovely, with live singers performing on most evenings. The entertainment was never excessively loud or intrusive; it simply created a relaxing atmosphere while enjoying a drink. The animation team regularly came around informing guests about the evening entertainment schedule. Some of the shows we watched included: Karaoke Mr Hotel Mrs Hotel Lottery nights Everything we saw was enjoyable and well organised. Drinks The drinks deserve a special mention. This was some of the best all-inclusive drink quality we have experienced. Recognisable branded soft drinks Properly prepared cocktails Cocktails shaken and presented beautifully Glassware rather than plastic cups Fresh fruit garnishes Incredible iced coffees The overall quality was exceptional. ❤️ The Staff - The Real Stars of Jaz Elite Asteria Whilst the facilities, food and surroundings are all incredible, the biggest credit must go to the staff. I genuinely cannot think of a single staff member who did not go above and beyond. Whether at the restaurants, bars, pools, beach or reception, every member of staff consistently checked that everything was perfect and whether we needed anything else. Table service in the evenings was excellent, meaning there was rarely a need to queue at the bar, and drinks service around the pools was equally impressive. A special mention must also go to our room attendant, Ahmed, who was fantastic throughout our stay. He regularly checked that we had everything we needed and always greeted us with a smile. As this was also a birthday trip, he decorated our room and helped arrange a cake, which made the celebration even more special. Guest Relations also deserve recognition. They regularly checked in with us throughout our stay and even noted our room number to ensure everything was meeting expectations. This level of care is something we have never experienced before. ⭐ Final Thoughts Jaz Elite Asteria is one of those rare hotels that gets absolutely everything right. The luxurious accommodation, incredible food, beautiful beach, fantastic pools, high-quality drinks and excellent entertainment all combine to create an amazing holiday experience. However, what truly makes this hotel special is the people. Every member of staff genuinely cares about guests and works tirelessly to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. My partner and I usually like to visit new places rather than return to the same hotel twice, but Jaz Elite Asteria is the exception. We are already looking at booking again next year. If you are considering booking this hotel, don't hesitate. It is worth every one of its five stars, and for the duration of your stay, you will feel completely spoiled and looked after. it was an awesome holiday. Sad help us with everything we needed!!

We had a good stay at this hotel but we paid a lot of money for one week. I don’t think (afterwards) that €2.000 per person is worth the money. The food wasn’t that good, pools were full of people (especially kids) and the beds in the room were really hard so we didn’t sleep well. We also both had stomach issues already on the third day.
