Overall excellent first time at aquaviva, only disappointment was rude guests who have no concept of waiting in turn but that’s no fault of the hotel, you get that everywhere you go won’t stop us from returning though

🏨🧡 Jaz Aquaviva - Our 2nd stay here!  21st Oct - 31st Oct 🖤🌴 Today we're shining our spotlight on JAZ Aquaviva, a 5-star all-inclusive resort in Madinat Makadi, just outside Hurghada! ☀️🇪🇬 📍 Location: Madinat Makadi, Safaga Road, Hurghada, Red Sea. ⭐ Hotel rating: 5-star 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Ideal for: Families, couples and fun-loving holidaymakers 🛝 Aqua park: Complimentary access to Makadi Water World, featuring around 50 water slides and attractions, located on site. With amazing lifeguards. 🏊 Swimming pools: Adult and children's pools 🏖️ Beach: Private sandy beach at a sister hotel, around 3 km away, with a complimentary shuttle bus, takes about 10mins and runs every 30mins 🍽️ Restaurants: Buffet dining and a choice of international and speciality cuisines, something for everyone. Including kids area. Presented nicely and with some foods made fresh in front of you! Tip well and often and waiters will bring you drinks to your table each meal time. 🍹 Bars: Pool bars, a lobby bar and refreshments throughout your stay. Tip well and often and waiters will remember your drinks and bring them to your table/pool area etc 💆 Relaxation: Spa treatments, sauna, steam room and beauty services available at extra cost 🏌️ Activities: Golf, fitness facilities, water sports and entertainment 📶 Other facilities: Free Wi-Fi, in-room safe, minibar and rooms with balconies or terraces. 🛏️ Rooms: Comfortable, air-conditioned rooms and suites designed for a relaxing holiday. Staff are all super friendly and helpful! They work really hard to keep everywhere clean and tidy. Tip your cleaner well and often and they will help you as much as possible, including taking chargeables out your room if you wish! You get a new towel animal every day too! Tell customer relations about special occasions and they will decorate your room, bring you a free cake etc We had a swim up family room this time. Really worth it. Located in a quiet area with private pool and an amazing view out to sea!! Only problem is those pools arent heated in winter but with temp still ranging from 29-33 degrees in Oct you soon adjust and sometimes welcome the cool down... You also get complimentary robes and slippers in these rooms. Lovely large, clean rooms. ✈️ Getting there: Approximately 30 km from Hurghada International Airport. Only about 20mins for airport transfer. For those with littles make sure you check out Karims soft/bouncy play above the waterpark next to the supermarket, open from 630pm till 11pm every evening. Hes fab with the kids and the kids love him and the inflatable play/swings etc My son is 10 and still loves it! 10 euro/dollar/pound but they get a wrist band and can come and go all evening, he will do a discount for multiple children or if you intend to come for most nights of you stay etc. They also have electric trikes/bikes/cars that are free for 5mins or 5 euro/dollars etc for 15mins ❤️ Why choose JAZ Aquaviva? It's a fantastic option for families who want an all-inclusive holiday with plenty of pool time, water slides and activities, while still being close enough to explore Hurghada and the Red Sea. 💬 The hotel, rooms and grounds are super clean and well maintained. Staff are attentive and helpful without being in your face. During our stay the weather was around 30degrees each day, sometimes with a nice cool breeze. Evenings were slightly cooler, requiring a light jacket or cardigan. The evening entertainment was fab with pink and white parties some evenings. And full family circus shows with acrobacts on others. Also above the water park, next to the supermarket is Karims bouncy castle swings, slides and soft play. Karim is fab with the children! Food is fab. Food on arrival, no matter how late you arive. Always loads, beautifully presented and loads to choose from no matter how picky the eater. Special kids section in top right hand corner. Staff are always eager to help and please. This time we opted for more luxury choosing the family swim up room with private pool. Slippers and robes provided. Cakes and apples on arrival. Large terrace area with great sunloungers, table and comfortable chairs just for us and stunning view. Yes the pool is cold but you adjust and its actually nice when its Hot weather. Definitely worth the added bonus of a bit of peace and privacy. Bonus info - Visas - 30 USA dollars each. Ignore shouting from reps, go to banques/bank kiosks on right, have passports and money ready, takes just a few mins. I used reps 1st time, bank this time and was sooo much easier and quicker! 🧡 Bonus tip - We have alaways used Falcon Adventure Tours for all our trips and excursions and cannot recommend them enough! 🖤 We have done Private Cairo by air tour for pyramids, Nile, Sphinx and Cairo museum, Private Luxor mini bus for all temples and tombs and nile boat again, Private Dolphin show and swimming, Ultimate desert experience with them and all were amazing! Great communication from office, guides are super friendly and knowledgable. Fantastic value for money. We leaving the hotel take clip on hand sanitiser, your own toilet roll and sanitizer wipes. Sanitize often. Tip anyone who helps you or provides a service 1 or 2 pounds/euros/dollars. Guides/drivers tip 10 for half day, 20 for a full day. To any sellers hassling you say a firm No, No thank you or La (arabic) and walk away. Most will leave you alone. Thanks for reading! Please ask any questions and I will try and answer! Just don’t, poor hygiene in the buffet, handling raw meat then cooked food with the same hands 🤢. I’ve spent the week on the toilet. The hotel, waterpark and grounds are stunning. Everything else could do with a massive improvement! I’ve stayed at better 3 stars at a fraction of the price. It honestly felt as though no one there cares unless you’re tipping. £4000 was a massive rip off. I don’t think they should be a 5 star hotel and I’m sick of booking with TUI.

Amazing hotel I’d love to return special shout out to tiger in the animation got good banter he has! Definitely will be returning the pools were great and the rooms were stunning so glad I chose here

Once again we had a wonderful month her at the JAV Mr Anis & his staff really know how to treat & welcome guests. As usual the cleanliness food & staff were amazing. Big shout out to Nicole customer relations who goes above & behind & is a credit to the hotel
