The hotel itself was lovely, and the staff were absolutely excellent. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, and we cannot fault the service we received from the hotel team. Unfortunately, our experience with the TUI representative was a completely different story. I would strongly advise other holidaymakers to be cautious before booking excursions through him. We were taken on a shopping tour which, in our experience, felt very misleading. We were discouraged from looking around certain shops and instead taken to shops described as safe or trustworthy. Sadly, we feel we were ripped off at these shops instead. My dad paid almost £400 for what he was told was a handcrafted marble chess set. After paying, he was ushered out of the shop while the item was wrapped up. When he returned home and opened it, we discovered that what we had received was a cheap-looking clay chess set, completely different from what we believed we had purchased. We were absolutely devastated and feel that we were seriously misled. We went on this excursion believing we were dealing with honest, hardworking people, but the experience left us feeling scammed and completely disgusted. I find it extremely disappointing that customers travelling with a reputable company like TUI could have an experience like this. I believe this matter deserves to be investigated, and I sincerely hope TUI looks into the excursions being offered by its representatives and the shops customers are being taken to. To be clear, the hotel and its staff were wonderful, and this review is not a reflection of their service. Our disappointment lies entirely with our experience involving the TUI representative and the shopping excursion. I would happily recommend the hotel based on the hospitality we received, but I would urge other holidaymakers to be very careful when booking shopping trips and spending money on these excursions. Please learn from our experience and check purchases carefully before handing over your money.

We are just finishing a 12-night holiday at Jaz Aqua Viva as a group of 13 (6 adults, 7 kids aged 8-16). We have had a really great time and our whole group loved the resort. ​The hotel was highly responsive to pre-arrival emails and accommodated our requests without question. However, to give a balanced review, I would classify this as a strong 4-star rather than a 5-star hotel. Here is why: ​Rooms & All-Inclusive Perks We stayed in a ground-floor pool-facing room. It was nice enough, but felt a bit tired with cracked grout, scuffed walls, and wonky furniture. Additionally, the minibar is not free. Having to pay extra for a few cans of soft drinks and beer in the room lowers the "5-star all-inclusive" experience. ​Food & Drink The food is genuinely excellent. I am quite fussy with all-inclusive buffets, but this was one of the best I’ve had. There is a huge variety: nice meats, pizzas, waffles, salads, and exceptional breads. ​The alcohol, however, is terrible. The beer tastes decent but is clearly very weak, and the local spirits are virtually undrinkable. We (along with many other families) resorted to buying branded spirits elsewhere and bringing them in. A note on sickness: A few in our party got a mild case of "Pharaoh's Revenge." There was no obvious reason, but it reduced significantly as soon as we stopped drinking the hotel's spirits. ​On the plus side, the soft drinks are fine, and the barista machine in the lobby bar produces really nice coffee. ​Pools & Facilities The on-site waterpark is great. It has food and drink venues included in the package and kept the kids entertained for hours. The main hotel pools are a uniform 1.2m deep and heavily supervised. The lifeguards are vigilant and quite strict about jumping in, likely because the surrounding tiles get ridiculously slippery when wet. ​The sports facilities (table tennis, pool, tennis courts, and a remarkably bumpy floodlit football pitch) are basic but the kids still loved them. The gym is adequate, though the air-con was inconsistent. ​Staff & Vibe The staff are phenomenal—friendly, personable, and engaging. The waiters, bar staff, and animation team do the hotel proud. My biggest tip: Tip regularly from the start of your holiday! We tipped our housekeeper, specific bar staff, and our regular waiter, and the service went from good to EXCEPTIONAL. ​The only downside to the atmosphere is the poolside "salespeople" selling excursions and massages. Some take a polite "no thank you," but others are pushy and it wears thin after a while. ​Overall The negatives were minor in the grand scheme of things. If this were marketed as a 4-star, I’d probably have zero complaints. I highly recommend the hotel and am confident that 99 out of 100 families or friend groups will have a fantastic time here. ​Suggested improvements for management: ​Include minibar drinks in the all-inclusive package. ​Upgrade the alcoholic spirits. They are offensively bad, which ruins the cocktails too. ​Keep breakfast open until 11 AM. Getting teenagers up and fed by 10 AM is hard! ​Level the grass on the football pitch and make it bigger. ​Minor additions: New sunbeds, an additional pool table, and more caramel/vanilla syrups for coffees (they kept running out). ​Well done, Jaz Aqua Viva! 😃

The hotel is located about 1 km from the sea, with a free bus running every 30 minutes. The atmosphere is nice. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean. The surroundings are quiet. Every evening there's a live music concert. The food is tasty. There are several pools and a water slide complex. I recommend it.

All staff from management to cleaners are extremely helpful, with a big thank you to Ayam Abo Deif Who runs a very tight ship and is very helpful and nothing is to much trouble. See you all again next year.
