JAZ Makadi Saraya Resort

After a rocky start we were eventually sorted at reception and the 1st week went well. In the second week we were disappointed to be treated differently just because the hotel was quieter with less guests. The hotel scaled back the entertainment which meant the kids missed things they'd seen advertised on line, the hotel closed a restaurant which caused a backlog of diners at the Sunflower restaurant creating wait times to be extremely long and the service was overwhelmed with waiters bypassing tables and trying to clean up and serve drinks in a rush. The shops were terrible for inflating prices and we were ripped off left right and centre so I would recommend future visitors take a trip off complex to stock up on things for the room. If it wasn't for a small handful of staff, Natasha, Max and the other animation team members then I wouldn't be impressed at all with this stay.

Another fabulous holiday at Makadi Saraya, all the staff are so helpful and friendly great atmosphere, hotel and grounds are kept immaculate, house keeping do a fantastic job. Good selection of shops at the Souk. Always lots going on animation team work very hard to keep everyone entertained with a variety of shows, the Street Party is fab. Great choice of A la carte restaurants, 2 visits to The Grill excellent food, 2 visits to Nino's second visit food was terrible the Lamb cutlets were so fatty and chewy they shouldn't have been served, will avoid on my next visit. Thanks for an amazing holiday looking forward to returning in February 🥰

They were always friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Thanks to Ahmed and Mona for thier dedication at pool drinks bar and Mohamed Ibrahim at Lobby bar Mohamed tharwat at Zanjabil bar Mohamef hosny bars manager and Tarek from Lobby bar The whole team made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their genuine hospitality and dedication really made a difference. Saraya home from home Just got back from two weeks in the sun Amazing hotel and staff nothing too much trouble from chefs gardeners Special thanks to mohamed Shiba in the sunflower restaurant. His friendliness and enthusiastic always makes every one feel great. Can't wait to see them all again soon

We spent 10 wonderful days in this hotel. It is clean, the service and the food are also good. The staff are all very courteous and kind. The animationteam is also very kind, had much fun with them! The shows and program throughout the day were really good. We celebrated that I was in this hotel for the 5th time. For sure we will come back again.
