Menaville Safaga

The hotel is absolutely awful, dirty, and has a very bad smell. The food is terrible. Nothing has any taste or flavor. The evening entertainment show is a complete circus and has absolutely nothing to do with entertainment. I would rate it 0/10. If you are coming from Europe, under no circumstances choose this hotel, because you will literally end up hungry due to the terrible food. At the beach, the staff are aggressive, unfriendly, and dishonest. They will “reserve” sun loungers for you only if you give them a tip. Otherwise, you will not be able to find a free sun lounger during your entire holiday, because 99% of the loungers are occupied by towels with nobody actually using them. This happens every single day, 24/7, throughout my 15-day stay. The waiters are also terrible. They barely serve you drinks and seem to avoid you unless you constantly give them tips. The bald employee working at the beach bar is constantly swearing and talking to himself whenever you order something from him. All the drinks they serve are extremely warm. I honestly do not understand how they expect people to drink warm beer. Based on my 15-day experience, this has been the worst holiday of my life so far. Throughout my stay, their attitude made me feel as if I had come to this hotel without paying for my holiday, simply because of the extremely poor and disrespectful way they treated me. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with any request. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting this hotel

We are absolutely delighted with our stay at the Menaville Hotel. The biggest plus of this hotel is the beautiful, long sandy beach with a gradual entry into the water, which is ideal for relaxation. The coral reef is close by, making diving and snorkeling a real pleasure. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The food in the restaurant is varied and delicious. Special thanks go to the animation team and the exceptionally polite staff who are always there to help Highly recommended! We will back again. ------------------------------

The Hotel itself is fab ! Its highest rooms are two story’s which we love ! We don’t like the high rise places ! We stayed in a deluxe beach front chalet ( waking up to seeing the sea a few metres away was perfection!!) I wouldn’t say they were deluxe as such BUT they were cleaned daily and offered everything you need ! Staff are all amazing !! We had a few favourites! “Adel” our beach bar man comes top ( smiley, happy and very good English! Always had our drinks ready and waiting for us !) , abdulhay our evening bar man and breakfast coffee maker( funny little man always making funny faces but never without a smile and always asking if we need anything ) and our favourite waiter … Mustaf who looked out for us daily and tended to us during every dinner service keeping a table for us and putting petals on it at times ! After the first day we never had to ask for coffee/ drinks as they were always there waiting ! Garden is maintained on a daily basis ! They are liked little worker bees!! I would say the only thing that wasn’t that great was the evening entertainment! Fire show was good and Egyptian dancing was fab !! The animation team were lovely but the same 4 songs and dances over 2 weeks become quite irritating. The Manager @AmirAbdelHafeez could not do enough for us ! Super charming and helpful ! All in all if you want a more peaceful experience in Egypt this is the hotel for you ! It’s around a 40 minute journey from Hurghada airport but 100% worth it ! Beach is perfect with a teaming coral reef at knee height !

Beautiful resort around 45 mins from Hurghada, lovely well equipped chalet, right on beach front! What a view to wake up to!! gorgeous beach, plenty of sun-beds, excellent for snorkelling, with its own coral reef from within around 3 feet of water! With sooo many different fish to see! rooms cleaned and bedding changed daily, staff are all very friendly, consistent and accommodating , lovely beach bar, for a coffee/alcohol out of the midday sun,Adel (aka George) the bar man will have your drinks waiting as u arrive, he is superb!! Our Abs (Abdullay) works his socks off in restaurant AND bar in the evening! And the wonderful Mostafa greets us each morning for breakfast, All the lads sure do graft!And always with a smile! Nothin is too much trouble, fabulous trips can be arranged also, well worth it!! Cant recommend highly enough!! Will defo come back again!!!
