Palm Royale Resort

The hotel is amazing, even though it's not new but it was built for a real 5 star experience. It has a fantastic beach with a direct access from the shore, kite station with a beautiful lagoon nearby, large and well maintained rooms, very professional personel and nice pools. But i wanna write this review about the dining experience we had here in it's main restaurant Cafe Stella. I wonder why this place still does not have Michelin stars! It definitely deserves it! The variety of food is astonishing, starting from salads and small bites, all types of meat and seafood, fruits and deserts. Hundreds of dishes to chose for a dinner and almost every dish is a masterpiece! Even though the hotel has 4 very good a-la carte restaurants that we could visit, we could not force ourselves to skip a dinner in Stella. Every day of a week is different, designated for a cusine of a certain country. And every time we come back to the hotel something new is implemented. This time its fresh smoothies and gluten-free dishes for breakfast. I think a lot of guests come to the hotel just because of fantastic dining experience. Each day we enjoyed every single bite of food here. Me and my family stayed more than 10 times in the hotel for 1 or 2 weeks and we have never experienced any stomach issues here. Service is very attentive and all the staff are trying there best to serve the clients. A lot of options to seat outside or inside. There is an adults only zone too. My applause to the chef and his team. It's a super premium experience!

An excellent hotel—truly beyond all expectations. We originally chose it mainly because of its proximity to the windsurf rental Surfmotion, without realizing it was actually a 5-star hotel. Arriving there was therefore a very pleasant surprise, and the overall experience felt almost a bit overwhelming—in the best possible way. Looking back, we almost regret not making more use of the hotel’s facilities, as we spent most of our days at Surfmotion. The service throughout our stay was outstanding: friendly and attentive staff, spotless and well-maintained surroundings, and always someone nearby ready to assist, at almost any time of day. The evening entertainment was enjoyable, and the food and drinks were excellent. The buffet offered a different theme each day, and guests also had the opportunity to dine up to three evenings at one of the hotel’s à la carte restaurants, which was a great addition. There were only a couple of minor downsides. We received twin beds despite having booked a double bed. In addition, we booked a snorkeling trip with “Mr Egypt,” who operated from a small booth by the beach. The trip itself was fantastic, although perhaps slightly overpriced. However, during the excursion, the guide took photos and videos and later tried to sell them to us for €30 on the way back—something we had not expected. It felt a bit pushy and detracted slightly from an otherwise great experience. A small tip for future guests: it’s worth familiarizing yourself with Egyptian tipping culture in advance. We didn’t fully understand how it worked until the end of our stay. Coming from a largely cashless country like Norway, it’s easy to forget that in many places, cash is still king—slightly embarrassing in hindsight. Despite this minor issue, which put a small dent in the snorkeling experience, our overall impression of the hotel remains extremely positive. We would definitely rate it a full 5 stars

We enjoyed every moment at Palm Royale Resort. Large green & well maintained area, a pleasure for evening walks. Long beach, a plus is the peace bay ( silent one) . Smooth entry in the sea, sandy. The tide is imperceptibile. The matttresses on the sea are so relaxing. Food is excellent. Thematic dinners. We didn’t go à la carte restaurants, eat just in the main restaurant because everything was tasty . Service is good. Rooms are big with large balcony. Thanks to the receptionist for the quiet room with sea view and to Mr. Ali for the room cleansing. We liked the entertainment too : the pool parties, live music and shows. We loved everything. Wish be back next year.

After 21 stays, coming back still feels like a privilege. Every visit feels like coming home, just with sunshine, sea and total relaxation. The resort is spacious, beautifully maintained, bright, it never feels crowded. Beach is stunning and vast, with always available sunbeds and crystal-clear water. Rooms are very spacious, comfortable, with large balconies, and always spotless thanks to the housekeeping team: truly one of our favourite places to sleep away from home. Recent updates, including new bathrooms, new mattresses, and improved doors, have made a noticeable difference in comfort and quietness. Almost all rooms have a sea view. We especially love the Nefertiti building: peaceful, overlooking the kite spot, with magical sunrises. Tip: if you’re sensitive to noise, book a sea-view room: evening entertainment can be a little loud sometimes. Food was always good, but this year it’s truly outstanding! Chef Olivier has taken it to another level: quality, variety, presentation… hard to beat! Dining outside during summer months makes it even more special. Huge credit to the entire kitchen team! Kitesurfing is a big highlight for us: the lagoon is safe and beautiful, and having Surf Motion right next door (literally “from bed to board”) is something very rare. And this year beginning of April: 20-30 knots almost every day… just perfect! It’s a fantastic place for watersports in general, especially during the windier months, yet there are always sheltered areas for those looking for calm and protection. Our routine? Kite. Sunset at Quiet Beach. Spa… Repeat. The staff truly makes the difference: warm, fun, incredibly attentive and responsive. Every request is taken seriously, always with a smile. Outstanding as always Practical tips: Bring essentials (shops on-site are pricey) Stella Restaurant can get noisy at peak times: if you like quieter atmosphere, go earlier/later if possible Half board works perfectly for us Book breakfast at La Terrace - definitely worth it! We enjoyed the stay here very much. The tennis and padel coach Aiman did a very good job, he was always friendly and helped us to connect with other players. Great experience and good courts.
