Pickalbatros Jungle Aqua Park by Neverland

I cannot recommend Pickalbatros Jungle Aqua Park after my experience. I booked my stay through Lastminute.com and paid the full accommodation cost before travelling. After arriving at the hotel late at night with my family following an international flight, I was shocked to be told that I had to pay an additional €128.64 before I would be allowed to check in. The hotel staff explained that the booking price only applied to customers from the German market/German residency, and because I did not meet that requirement, I had to pay the difference. This condition was never disclosed in my booking confirmation or any booking policy that I received. Had I known about such a restriction before booking, I would never have chosen this hotel. With my family exhausted and having nowhere else to stay, I had no realistic option but to pay the additional amount. I felt I was placed under pressure to make a payment simply to access accommodation that I had already paid for. What concerns me most is the apparent difference in pricing based on residency, without this being made clear before booking. If a hotel applies different rates depending on the customer's country of residence or booking market, this should be clearly disclosed before payment is taken, allowing guests to make an informed decision. I have since contacted both the hotel and Lastminute.com seeking an explanation and resolution. At the time of writing, the issue remains unresolved. The hotel itself has good facilities, but no holiday experience can make up for arriving at reception and being told to pay an unexpected amount that was never mentioned during the booking process. The stress this caused my family completely overshadowed our stay. I hope the hotel reviews its booking practices and ensures that any residency or market-based pricing restrictions are fully disclosed before guests book, so that other travellers do not face the same situation.

Great service from staff, very clean environment, spoilt for choice on food and extensive resources to keep everyone occupied. Would be happy to visit again.

Not too far from the airport and local amenities. Worth every penny especially when booked with other families. The kids will love it!

The location is so close to the airport, the resort is so clean and tidy. The staff are so friendly and polite and very helpful.
