My husband and I recently returned from a wonderful two-week holiday at Pickalbatros White Beach Resort in Hurghada, and I felt compelled to share our experience. If you are looking for a relaxing, high-quality resort with direct access to the sea and incredible service, this place is a fantastic choice! From the moment we arrived at the impressive main lobby, the staff treated us with genuine warmth. Check-in was swift and smooth; they served us cold hibiscus juice while taking care of our luggage. We were assigned a spacious Deluxe Room on the upper floor with a balcony overlooking the sparkling central swimming pools and the turquoise coastline. The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep every single night. Every day, the room attendant cleaned our room to perfection, leaving adorable towel art and refreshing our bottled water, tea, and coffee stations daily. The resort's layout is convenient and thoughtful. Walking along the landscaped promenade lined with palm trees was a daily pleasure. The beach area itself is broad, clean, and equipped with plenty of comfortable sun loungers and windbreakers. We loved morning strolls along the sandy shoreline. The water entry is shallow and gradual, making it very calm and safe. For adults who prefer deep swimming right away, a brief walk along the shallow water leads straight into the deeper blue. Dining at the resort exceeded our expectations. Having multiple themed restaurants—Italian, Asian, and Oriental—under one roof allowed us to sample a huge variety of dishes without getting bored. My husband loved the freshly grilled meats and seafood specialties served during dinner, while I was absolutely obsessed with the freshly baked bakery products, delicious oriental pastries, and fresh fruits. The Cappuccino at the main lobby bar became our sacred morning ritual. While the resort provided all the relaxation we needed, we also wanted to explore Egypt’s famous culture and landscapes. Before flying out, we researched local excursion providers because hotel tour operators tend to charge double the price. We booked all our trips with a local agency called Sheriff Egypt, which you can easily search and find online by name. Their prices were significantly cheaper than those offered by hotel guides, and the quality of service was exceptional. We highly recommend their private tour to Cairo. It was arranged on an exclusive individual program tailored just for my husband and me. We traveled in a brand-new 2026 minibus that was immaculate, air-conditioned, and smooth-riding. Our private guide spoke flawless English and provided rich historical details without rushing us through the Grand Egyptian Museum or the Pyramids of Giza. Having a flexible schedule with a dedicated guide made the long trip to Cairo comfortable, informative, and effortless. In addition to Cairo, we booked a Super Safari excursion. It was an exhilarating afternoon riding quad bikes through the golden dunes, followed by a romantic sunset dinner under the stars in a Bedouin village with traditional music and performances. Overall, Pickalbatros White Beach Resort is an outstanding property with immaculate cleanliness, delicious food, and friendly staff. Paired with well-organized private excursions around Egypt, this vacation turned out to be one of the best trips my husband and I have ever taken together. We left with glowing tans, wonderful memories, and a strong desire to return next year!
